Dwarven Weeaboos is a 100 card set collection card game for 1-5 players. Gameplay is quick, exciting and full of tons of nerd culture hilarity.
Build sets of collectibles and collect waifu parts as your collections grow. Use waifu parts as a team to build the perfect waifu (or husbano). Once the waifu is complete the game ends and enters scoring. Depending on which parts make up the waifu, sets will score differently. The waifu will marry the player with the highest score! Congrats you two!
Players take 3 actions per turn. Players use their actions to buy collectibles from the store, activate cards in their collection, or hoard duplicates of cards already have in their collection. Use these actions to build stronger sets of cards over your opponents.
There are some crazy combos in the game for you to discover by crossing up the categories in unique ways. How will you build your collection?
Whenever you collect a card from a category already represented in your collection, you gain a waifu part. Whenever you collect a card that would be the third or later card added to a category in your collection, you may contribute a part to the waifu. You can also replace waifu parts that have already been played. Once she/he (it?) is complete, the game will go to scoring. The waifu's parts give point values to certain card types. The waifu will choose and marry the Dwarf that scores the highest. Try to contribute parts that move scoring in your favor.
There are multiple copies of most cards. Even though they share the same name and effect, that didn't stop us for giving every single card in this game unique art and flavor text. That's 100 pieces of unique art! We also used this opportunity to add more hilarity over all to the game.
Use internet category cards to attack and harass your opponents.
Strangely fitting isn't it?
In this video we teach you how to play and then carry out a 1v1. Remember the game is playable up to 5 players!

- Final rules will feature full art.
Let's make the quality of those cards better! We will upgrade the game to 300 gsm card stock.
When this stretch goal is unlocked, the backer's of this project can choose one of the following themes. We will add cards to the game themed around that choice. These cards will introduce a new mechanic to the game. Here's some of the stuff we have on the drawing board, the mini-expansion may include all, some or none of these ideas (submit yours!).

What about husbandos?
We use "waifu" losely. You will be lucky if the waifu ends up human.
Is this a game for kids?
God no. Nothing vulgar can be found in this game other then a few swear words and disjointed references but we definitely rate as ages 13+.
It started off as a joke, but a lot of people found the idea funny so we rolled with it. Initially we were only going to sell the game at anime conventions, but we decided to also bring this game to Kickstarter.
Risks and challenges
Producing boxed games is a messy business and lots of things can go awry. Production delays, shipping hazards, port strikes, and more. Whatever happens though, we guarantee that your game will arrive safe and sound, or your pledge money back.
Despite these challenges, we successfully delivered our first game (Terrene Odyssey) without any major issues, and we're planning the same for Dwarven Weeaboos. Dwarven Weeaboos is already ready for the printer, it's completely asset ready and beta playtested!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
