Tantra Rumble is a FREE TO PLAY Massive Multiplayer Online action PVP/PVE game, using cards for skills, equipment for stats giving you full control over 8 characters in action packed battle arenas and strategy based team maps.
We decided to make Tantra Rumble FREE TO PLAY because we want it to be played by EVERYONE and EVERYWHERE. This is also why we are aiming to release the game on as many platforms as possible (Windows, Mac OsX, Linux, Xbox One, Playstation 4). Platform compatibility will depend on the progress of this campaign assisted from the help of you.
The game will be released in the following languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian when its launched, we will aim on releasing the game with as many languages supported as possible depending on the publishers we have.
Our mobile app will complement the innovation of the gameplay, which, will be released for Android, IOS and Windows Mobile.
Tantra Rumble plunges us into a world of conflict, due to the fracture of the Trimurti which, once sealed the alliance of the Gods Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma.
The conflict between the gods has forced the mortals to choose a side and dive into brutal wars to determine which god is recognized as the supreme deity.
Breaking the Trimurti broke the balance in the world, allowing demonic entities known as Maras to emerge from the shadows and claim the lands owned by the mortals.
A Legend is spoken and is the only voice of hope the mortals have remaining. 8 Mortals equipped with the most powerful of armoury will now be the judges to which god is the supreme deity.
Fight it out and decide for the mortals who is the greater deity and prove your worth to become a true champion.
On Tantra Rumble you can play solo, with friends or with a clan due to our great balanced match making system. Providing many different game modes with diverse team requirements you can queue up and select your character combination with your team discussing strategies and deciding what is best to win this match.
Once all characters have been selected for both teams you will move onto the skill selection screen where, you can assign up to 4 skills on your character using the cards in your account inventory.
Once all skills have been assigned for everyone you will then move onto the equipment section where, you can assign your equipment in your account inventory to the character you have selected.
Once this is complete, you and your team will move into the map and begin the game mode.
This whole process is on a timer, it requires you and your whole team as well as the opposing team to be ready in order to rush it, failure to complete tasks and not select a character, assign skills or equipment in the timeframe will result in everyone being removed to queue again. Penalties will be given for repeated offenders who dodge queues or failure to complete required tasks on the build up.
This all sounds very long winded but the process is very easy to use and very quick, we estimate a max time of match making to be around 3 minutes long.
The card system is our main feature of the game, offering you the diversity of customizing your character's skills. Each card will represent a skill, the class it belongs to, it's rarity and it's type. There are 3 types of active skills (attack, buff/debuff and special) that you can equip to your character at the same time for each match.
There are also 5 different rarity values for each specific card all of which give extra power to the skills, so gaining the rarest cards will be essential to dealing the most damage or effect in game.
The attack skills also have a chain skill additionally added to each skill. This is not something you can change as the chain belongs to the parent skill, chain skills will require mana or stamina and can only be used after the initial parent skill has been casted.
Different cards will be launched each season to offer more dynamic game play and to continue providing new ways to win games with new and improved skills.
Virtual Cards can be acquired in game by opening card packs purchased using publisher currency, in game currency or completing achievements/tasks requested before certain game modes. You can also purchase specific cards in the game auction where, using your in game currency you can purchase/bid for card packs placed by community members.
We will be offering physical versions of the cards available to purchase in stores or online for those who would like to collect the cards physically. The cards can be used using our mobile app so you can also redeem the card to your account. We will be releasing additional functions for physical cards such as trading card games for the mobile app and more.
Equipment & Stats
Depending on your account level, you will have the ability to assign stat points and equipment to your characters. You can edit the characters inventory, skill presets and character chakras (stats) within your profile or in the game lobby when preparing for a game mode.
The available equipment for each character will be: Necklace, Earrings, Rings, Bracelet, Tattoos and Belts. There will also be a few extra slots on the character's inventory such as: Helmet, Body and Pet which, will be cosmetic only and available in the item mall.
Equipment will add stat points only and they have a lot of uses such as HP, MP, Defense and Attack boosts depending on the class you play and your preference on that classes build.
Equipment will not alter the character's appearance, it is there only for use of character boosting except for the 3 extra slots made for costumes which will add small appearance changes depending on the cosmetic.
Stat points on Tantra Rumble are called Chakras. Chakras can be assigned in your profile or in a game lobby. The quantity you can assign will depend on your account level.
The only equipment that can be allowed to be refined/enhanced are the weapon and shield. The maximum refine value you can gain is +20 the appearance of the weapon will change depending on the refine value adding extra glows.
Each one of these items will have different amount of Ability Enhancement Slots, the amount of slots will be random depending on the item level, item rarity and drop.
There will also be special bonuses for each weapon such as: LUCK (% probability to double the damage of a critical hit), BLESSING (% probability to convert a debuff into a buff) or SPIRIT (% probability to get FULL MANA replenished).
This special bonus on the weapons cannot be added, changed or removed and they come with different amount of success %.
We have many more bonuses to be added in the future, we intend to add many more but for now to prevent balance concerns we are sticking with this design for now.
Upgrade Stones and Enhancement Stones can be acquired from monster drops, auction, game modes, achievements and the item mall.
Cards can be combined in game if you have many duplicates of the same card with the same rarity. For example if you had x5 of a specific rare value card you can use the card combination system on the menu to combine those cards to have a % chance of gaining a higher rarity value of the card.
This method only costs in game currency or you can use a specific item to avoid using in game currency which, can be bought from the item mall. Using this feature also removes the cards used to combine for good whether success or fail.
We have designed very complex algorithms that will measure your account level, skill level and many other aspects such as assigned stats to match you with players with similar skill level so that games can be very fair and balanced for all players.
We have designed many different game modes that will be released over time such as:
Domination – 8v8 map where 1 of each class must be played per team, the aim of the game mode is to conquer 4 domains gaining buffs and points from conquering to then open the final boss in the center. The game will end once the center monster is destroyed, players will be capable of re-conquering the domains and the domains will gain strength each time this is accomplished. Victories are separated by 3 measurements, the team that killed the center boss, most points and kills/assist, this is a best of 3 reward system with the winning team earning most the spoils of war.
Tower defense – This game mode will be played with the same rules as a classic Tower defense MOBA game with a bit of tuning to match Tantra Rumble.
Capture the Flag – You and your team must capture 1 flag at the middle of the map and get it to your base in a maze filled arena, every time a team accomplishes this, the flag is respawned. The team with the most points after the time has ran out will be the winner.
Capture the Kalas – Similar to Capture the Flag but instead there are 5 areas where you and your team must gain the Kalas and return it to your base; the difference is the 5 areas do not respawn so it's the best out of 5 result.
Team DeathMatch – 3 Teams fighting each other (one for each god), the team with most kills when time runs out wins.
Free For All – Kill, be killed and re-spawn on this classic game mode. Great mode to practice your skills and waste little time doing so.
Story Battles – Everyone loves PVE, we will provide this by making awesome stories that you and your team must follow fighting insane bosses and gaining rare loot if completed.
Survival – This PVE mode is great! Basically, the 8 players have to defend their base against hordes of minions and maras, the hordes don't stop as they are never ending and they increase in power over time, so beat the clock and join the rankings with your team.
Duel – Yea, we didn't forget about this, if you want to duel someone, you can invite him to duel on the game lobby and get into a 1v1 map. This map will have spectator mode too. The plus side to dueling is you get to bet a card and the winner takes all! The betting of cards is totally up to the players you can duel for fun or put items, gold and cards on the line to bet and win.
Team Duel – The team duel will be very similar to dueling except you and 7 other friends can put your cards on the line once everyone agrees the fight will begin. Similar rules to normal game modes except the catch is the winners take all! Except! Instead of picking the card for your victory the reward will be randomized for the winning team members.
Whilst we add new game modes new maps and terrains new stories will arise telling tales and giving great impressions on the games background for those interested in the story side of games because we have a great one to tell with Tantra Rumble.
It seems like a lot of game modes, most are design based only and will not make release. We are just letting you guys know we have a lot planned for this game and a lot of fun features coming to the game.
Achievements & Goals
Everyone has goals to accomplish in game, we will have a huge list of achievements such as recorded wins of each class, opening x amount of packs, winning x amount of games and so on giving players more ways to earn in game currency and special items as well as keeping them busy with goals. The player will also get special titles by accomplishing these achievements and they will have special options to raise the character power, so it is beneficial if you wish for your characters to be stronger.
You can equip a title in your profile or in the game lobby, it is not a requirement for anything as it is totally preferencial so if you don't apply one it won't result in any kind of penalty.
Community & Social Features
Community Interaction is a key feature to a successful online game, allowing players to communicate builds a friendly environment that people would love to return to. We will be providing features such as guilds, in game voice communication and chat rooms where players can discuss about the game or just hang out and have fun.
Tantra Rumble will have also full integration with Facebook, Youtube and Twitch, allowing the players to post their achievements on their walls, record a video and automatically upload to their channel or start a live stream directly from the game.
We believe supporting gamers with what may be a hobby or a job to some is a great approach to making everyones life a little bit easier, we aim for comfort with our games and we can start right here with helping integrate very popular features to ensure players, streamers and video loggers get the best out of us and deliver the best for you, the viewers.

With a solid foundation in information systems management and security Gameolic was founded in 2010 as an indie company by 5 friends dedicated to the development of video games and related applications.
We started making websites, payment solutions, server security and anticheat protection for games to begin financing ourselves.
After that and with the recruitment of 2 more guys to the design area, we made 3 mobile games: Garden Combat, Fatal Fall and FlyCat, available for IOS, Android and Windows Phone.
Since our mind and heart was always set at creating multiplayer free to play fun games for both PCs and consoles, we decided to take the next step and begin Tantra Rumble. We began in February 2014 using Unity Engine and we have made a lot of progress on the programming, features, design and game play.
Meanwhile EPIC Games decided to launch Unreal Engine 4 with the new royalty system... With this awesome opportunity to develop on what we believe is one of the most amazing engines, we jumped to the chance and switched immediately.
Even though it required us to begin learning the functionality of an engine all over again, we believe this was the best choice we made and have come a long way in development since.
We have been working solid on Tantra Rumble for 6 months around 12 hours a day because of limited funds. We are very eager to produce our dream game and this is why we are coming to you.
Today Gameolic has a team of 10 professionals each one with specific skills to make the development of Tantra Rumble possible, of course this is not enough to make such a big and great game, we still outsource with freelancers for some parts of the game.
As mentioned earlier, we are only 10 developers, this is a lot for an indie company with limited funds. Our team is very dedicated and our funds are running dry, we cannot continue to pull away our men as it will continue to just delay our progress and we need comfortable funding to ensure we can focus solely on Tantra Rumble.
With your help, this campaign will cover the costs of the office and allow us to have breathing space to ensure we can provide the best quality of a game we know we can deliver.
This will also allow us to recruit more members and speed the process up, we need you to ensure we can bring to you the most amazing game that we believe everyone will enjoy.

Risks and challenges
With our experience over the years we have learned from many of our mistakes with design, development and ideas. Tantra Rumble is a big project for us and we understand being indie developers, it is a big risk to create such an enormous game but we are absolutely confident in taking it.
Making games and managing a game is not easy, we are not blinded by ambition and we understand the risks and challenges when developing such a project.
Quality takes time, but quality is what we have. The design team alone and the previews given speaks for itself in the quality we are aiming for and we will continue to provide that quality even in clinched occasions.
As a team taking on the smaller projects over the years it has developed our communication and design environment to be very well coordinated in order to ensure the best is given on any project and not just the big ones.
