Like most casino chips, these chips have non-aligned front and reverse sides. Meaning that if you were to rotate the chip on its edge axis, the design on the front may not line up in the exact position that it appears on the reverse. Since you can't see both sides at the same time, this should not be an issue for use. We decided to forgo having aligned designs due to the extra cost and marginal benefit. The bottom line is players can't see both sides of the chip at the same time, so we felt having to charge another dime per chip wasn't worth it.
