Midway Through the Campaign!

Good morning everyone!

We've reach the midway point in the campaign, and we're getting very close to that dice bag stretch goal!

The midway points of campaigns are very usually slow periods.

Last week, Alan ran Zorro for the crew at Victory Condition Gaming, and you can watch the actual play now!

You can watch it here, or by clicking on the video through to YouTube below!

We've got some more news and surprises coming your way shortly, including more rules previews, and more about the long term project plan with Zorro & West End Games D6!

Thanks everyone, and don't forget to keep spreading the word!

      Hullo, Alan,

A bit late, but I finally got around to watching the actual play of the game. That was much more a Three Amigos game than it was Zorro, wasn't it? Though I don't think you planned it that way, did you? :)

That out of the way, it was pretty fun to play in, I would think, though a bit boring in places for those watching the video. Some truly wonderful humourous moments, to be sure, especially Banana's horse trainer character shooting her own ally (twice! no less) and Amanda doctor and the sack stuff.

The basic premise of the adventure was quite good, and illustrated the Zorro's Legion basic idea very well, and I might just rip off this idea for my first campaign when I run ZORRO in the distant future (since the game won't be out until early 2020 or so, given that I don't work with PDFs to run games). A simple plot, with some nice twists and turns.

The basic mechanics of the game seemed to work very nicely, though we the viewing audience didn't get to see any of the dice being rolled and the like. You brought the game rules across quite well, and seeing them in action (so to speak) is always better than having them explained to you. Are those the final rules, with those Attributes and Skills, or do you foresee any tweaks and changes to them?

Anyway, thanks for posting the game session up, and I look forward to seeing the next actual play of the game. And am chomping at the bit for the game to come out already! :)
