About this project

Tales of  the Warrior Princesses is a Kickstarter for a setting and adventures taking fairy tale princesses and turning them into the active heroes of their own stories. We're funding two books, Warrior Princesses in the Realm of Everafter, a setting book that includes character sheets for all the princesses and details their world, and Tales of the Warrior Princesses, a book of 11 adventures, each focusing on one of the princesses as the star of an adventure going up against the enemies in her realm. Take the role of one of these Warrior Princesses and go adventuring with your comrades! This setting and these characters are compatible with the fifth edition of the best-selling role-playing game on the market.

Tales of the Warrior Princesses
Each Tale focuses on one particular Warrior Princess and would be played with four warriors in total. The adventures are broken up into three parts that should be a session of play each. These tales expand on the character story, further explain the motivations of the villains, and add more detail to the Realm and its inhabitants!

Tales of the Warrior Princesses is the second book in the Warrior Princesses in the Realm of Everafter game world series. This book is compatible for play with Wizards of the Coast’s OGL SRD5 (read D&D 5th ed). It contains eleven tales of adventure, where you take on the role of the Warrior Princess player characters or your own PCs!

The Tales… book can be used in conjunction with the Warrior Princesses in the Realm of Everafter core deck. If you missed this project (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/309426607/warrior-princesses-in-the-realm-of-everafter) you have an opportunity to get the revised book version of the Warrior Princesses in the Realm of Everafter in this Kickstarter. Included in the book are eleven 5th level adventures for 4-5 characters. Each of these tales further the story of Everafter. Also inside, there are maps, artifact, magic item, and monster listings to expand your gaming collection.

This book will be released in hardcover and paperback with beautiful art by Rebekie Bennington, and written by twelve great writers.

Warrior Princesses in the Realm of Everafter (Revised)
Once upon a time, in the extraordinary and vast Realm of Everafter, the World Spear fell from the skies causing calamity and destruction. In the Spear’s wake, where once there was beauty, evil creatures appeared, taking advantage of the confusion and despair. Play as one of eleven Warrior Princesses and defend the Realm of Everafter using their bravery, strength, wit, and many powers.

Warrior Princesses in the Realm of Everafter is compatible for play with Wizards of the Coast’s OGL SRD5 (D&D 5th ed). This book contains region information of the Realm of Everafter with a world map and smaller maps for individual points of interest. You will also find player character explanations for the eleven Warrior Princesses with their equipment, class archetypes, feats, and backgrounds to advance the PCs to higher levels. Also included, are story hooks for each Warrior Princess, descriptions and stats for their villains and other monstrous beasties that inhabit the Realm.

This book will be released in hardcover and paperback with beautiful art by Paul Sementilli and John Carimando and written by Saif Ansari and John Carimando.

Risks and challenges

Kickstarter always has some risk! We could all die, that might cause a bit of a delay. Other unforseen circumstances like natural disaster, serious illness, or global financial meltdown would obviously be a problem. All of these are impossible to plan for, but barring something this serious these products will absolutely be produced.

The main risk is delay, a problem we have had with previous Kickstarters. This project is in good shape, however, as all of the products will be written and complete by the time the Kickstarter ends. All that will remain will be layout and printing. Some delays might occur there, but layout will be completed by the project creator John Carimando.

It is possible that one of our authors on the Tales will fall through, but we will find someone quickly if that occurs, and again, this will only cause delay rather than cancellation of the project. We have multiple people involved in the project, so it does not depend wholly on one person, another way we have reduced risk, but that does spread responsibility. We are always working to improve our project management to deal with problems identified in previous projects.
