      Out of curiosity, have you guys thought about having your game featured in something like Humble Bundle or Indie Royale? I figure you'd be able to get it out to more people that way. Also, how has the new Steam Discovery update affected sales?

      Sadly I can not play the game since I use Linux and it appears there
      will not be a Linux version of the game. :(
      Anyway I have the game on humblebundle but the steam key is missing...
      Besides that I am glad to have helped out funding the game. :)

      Ok i see that you released a patch that has toned down some of the bosses. Now at least it is a bit more playable.

      Why are so bosses so much harder than others? I am fighting some guy on a bird and i have died over and over again. Between his wind power sometimes knocking you off the ship, and the ray beams, he needs to be nerfed. I am not sure why you made him so hard but he is ruining the game for me.

      I was able to get it to work again by telling bluetooth to disconnect the controller and then reconnect.

      I think I spoke too soon. Now the game refuses to recognize that I have a Playstation 3 wireless dual shock controller. It was working for a while but not anymore.

      Finally got the game on my Mac. Configured it to work with my Playstation Dual Shock 3 controller so that I can play it like it is meant to be played. One thing i am not sure of is it there is a way to save your progress. This looks like a game that might take several hours from beginning to end and it would be nice to be able to continue where I left off as opposed to start new each time.

      Is there a manual for the game? I'd like to know what all the various icons mean, such at the + icons when you've full leaves (flames?) and collector more. And what the petrol-can looking things in level 1 are for, if anything.

      Oop, ignore my comments. I figured it out. I had a Retorde plugged in with a MegaDrive controller attached and it was obviously confusing the game. My bad. Sorry 0_o

      Just an update on my previous post; the DRM-Free version (Windows) does not recognize my 360 controller either. No input AT ALL is recognized by the game. Keyboard works find but I really wanna play this with a controller.

      I'm having issues with the game (Steam version) recognizing my 360 controller. I posted on the Steam forum about it, but is there any other channel we are supposed to, or you'd prefer us to go through for support? In the meantime, I'll try the DRM free version.

      Congrats on shipping. This turned out to be a fun little nostalgic romp. I'm quite enjoying it. When so many failed and bad Kickstarters are making the news, it's nice when someone delivers on their promise in a timely fashion, especially when it's the kind of small, unproven team that people tend to be so cautious of.

      Just finished my first playthrough and I'm really pleased how the game turned out. Just some notes on a few issues I ran into:

      In the bonus stage, it's possible for 1-ups to drop outside the stage and be uncollectable.
      Collecting so many extra lives didn't feel very useful in the final stages when I was able to continue from where I got a Game Over. (Though in the end I'm glad I was able to continue from where I did. I think a no continues achievement could help alleviate this problem.)
      The final boss's slash attacks can be hard to discern from his other attacks and can make the fight feel overly frustrating when combined with its high damage.

      At any rate, awesome job on the game!

      Nicola - Try looking in your account details for something called "Steam Sub" followed by a few numbers. If it's there, or if Steam tells you that you already have the game when you try to re-use the key, then you're all set.

Just a little question: In the mail you stated that one redeemed, I should see the game in my Steam library as "Not yet released", but, to be honest I cannot see nothing in my library, even if the process of redeeming successfully completed... are we sure that I haven't burnt uselessly my key?

      It's a shame the contest fell through the cracks. Oh well.

      Mech boss fight looks pretty epic. Can't wait to play it.

      As for changing the Dragon Valley boss, it's ultimately your call what you want to do, but shouldn't the first boss(es) feel weak in comparison to later bosses? This allows players to get a grasp on the controls and learn how to fight tougher enemies. Also, at this stage the main villain doesn't know the protagonist right? Why would he bother to send his top men to some random jungle?

      I saw the panda variation of spade and I have to say I'm not entirely liking it. Thats not to say it can't be tweaked a bit, but that photo just didn't look right to me... I'm trying to think though, what else could he be turned into... I'll get back to you on that.

      I think spade being a panda works, he looks cool as he is now but it does look like one of those "yet another sonic OC" :P So i vote for the panda look, may i suggest trying red panda colors? Red pandas are smaller and fairly cute, their two names are "firefox" and "Wah" If not spade then possible another character or a pallete swap
