Funded in under 24 hours!
Wow, we funded in under 24 hours! It was a really nice treat today to wake up and see that the campaign funded while we were asleep last night. Thank you all so much for your amazing support, we are funded and we still have over three weeks to go! Although Carla and Dan both have quite a history with Kickstarter we had no idea what to expect for our first joint venture and this is just a really exciting moment for us, thanks for being a part of it.
So first and foremost, thank you for helping us to get here. Though, I am sure the big question you are asking now is, so what’s next?
Now that we are funded we can look forward to stretch goals to upgrade this game and make it even better than it already is!
$13,500 We will be increasing both the size of the game board and the decree cards! The Board size will be increased from 12x13 to 14x15 (also necessitating a bigger game box) and the Decree Cards will double in size!
$16,000 We will include a new meeple shape for the deluxe edition bringing the number of unique token shapes up to 4! This will not add more tokens but increase the number of total shapes up to 4!
This is just the tip of the iceberg and we have many more higher-level stretch goals planned, we look forward to making this game as amazing as possible!
This Thursday at 9pm EST, Galactic Raptor’s very own Dan Letzring will be running a Kickstarter Live event to say hi to everybody and answer any questions you have about the campaign, so please let us know if you can make it and be sure to stop by and ask a question. There is a place on the main campaign page to submit questions and we have already gotten quite a few. Dan has also offered to answer anything asked, so try to come up with some really good ones for him. We do not expect it to last too long (maybe 20-30 minutes) so please come by at 9 and say hi!
This weekend Jan 11-13th, Carla will be attending OrcaCon in Bellevue Washington. If you live close by or are attending and want to meet Carla and check out Animal Kingdoms live and in person, you will be able to find her there! You can find out more info about the con at http://www.orcacon.org/
We have been doing a lot of interviews for this campaign so keep your eyes peeled if you would like to learn more about Steven's design process, how Galactic Raptor came to be, and all sorts of other fun facts about the team behind this amazing endeavor! Four interviews published this week if you are interested in checking them out with many more to come.

Thanks again for all of your support and we look forward to seeing what the next 3 weeks bring! Be sure to spread the word if you know anyone who might be interested in the campaign and let us know if there is anything else we can do for you in the meantime!
All our best
The Galactic Raptor Team!
