What is going on with Chameleon? Will we ever get this product? Is the project itself still in progress? Please, what is going on?

What happens to the money we put in? Do we get it back if we do not get our software.

    4. Belinda Lazarus on June 14, 2012

.. and what Jason said, ... about the t-shirt and being a backer both times ;)

    5. Belinda Lazarus on June 14, 2012

very confusing,... says I am a backer, then below funding canceled,.. won't let me contribute.... ?

I am curious if you guys got another kickstarter project up yet? I agree with @Mark it happens to everyone the only thing you can do is accepted it and start over again. Thanks.

In an AndroidCentral video it comes up that the widgets are using HTML5? How accurate of a statement is that, and how pervasive throughout the app is HTML5 if it is accurate? Do you worry about the performance issues that would cause as opposed to using XML and Android native controls?

    10. Jason Rushin on June 8, 2012

You should make a new pledge level with a t-shirt that says, "I'm a backer...both times!"

    11. Mark Stephens on June 8, 2012

Guys, as soon as the new project is up I shall be pledging immediately, and I urge the other 5,131 backers to do likewise.
Just remember folks, $h1t happens, lets move on and get this thing off the ground :-)

    12. Johnathan Camien on June 8, 2012

So being that the current project is being closed does that negate the donation, will we need to decimated to the new project to get the stuff in the bracket we donated in?

    13. Gabor Vida - Teknision 2-time creator on June 8, 2012

@Peter - Yes this project page still exists.

Actiually we are trying our best close the project today - We thought we could click the "cancel funding' button in the Kickstarter Admin tool to do that, however this when we click on it function causes an error message. Kind of a cruel joke really.

As a work around, I have put in several requests to Kickstarter to cancel funding on the project.

I encourage any of our existing backers to cancel their pledge if they are feeling anxious or nervous. I am sure that we will have it resolved shortly. I really hope so because we want to be able to put this hurdle behind us.

One important thing to note is even if the project is cancelled, we are told by Kickstarter staff that this project page will still exist. ( I presume it will have some large label on it and the back project button will be disabled)

Your Kickstarter project page still exists. when you plan on reopening make sure you remove the old one first.. and why does it still say ":THIS PROJECT WILL BE FUNDED ON FRIDAY JUN 15, 10:07AM EDT." when I log in to Kickstarter. Don't get me wrong, this project is awesome but your way of communicating and struggles seem fishy

    15. Scott Tolinski on June 7, 2012

The mixup isn't a huge inconvenience I just don't understand why this couldn't have been avoided.

Kickstarter is awesome. Chameleon is awesome. Living on a contentious fragmented planet totally sucks. Someday humanity will learn how to work with itself towards common positive goals. Until then, things like this will happen. Looking forward to the final product and the opportunity to support it.

This whole mix up dosent seem to bother me to much its not like my card was charged or anything. Im glade you have figured out thus while kick starter again. Good luck and I can't wait to get this on my tablet.

Although this is a pain for me and i was really looking forward to this, i am sure the pain on your side has been far worse. I believe this project will be a huge success so when the new project goes live i will definitely be backing you again.

In the interest of transparency, can you help us understand why the loss of a team member also resulted in the loss of the Amazon funding stream? Seems that if it was a routine or amicable parting of ways that a resolution could easily have been found without restarting the process. Without a satisfactory response to this concern - and perceived internal turmoil - I won't renew my rather substantial backing.

This is quite annoying, but I find your way of dealing with the issue and communicating with your backers really deserves compliments! I just hope all backers will be back on the new project!

    21. GuyFromTrinidad on June 6, 2012

When I saw the updates yesterday I must say I got pretty worried and I know sometimes these things happen. I really hope you can resolve these issues soon (today?!?!) but I hope you also share this experience with the general public as a learning so some good comes out of your present situation.

    22. Gabor Vida - Teknision 2-time creator on June 6, 2012

@Ralf, I do agree with you and keeping this between backers was a tough decision. We are currently actively talking to Kickstarter to try and resolve this issue. I think it can be fixed quickly and I don't want to shine a public light on an issue that is really between Chameleon and Kickstarter. I don't want to give any type of impression of antagonism towards kickstarter. We love kickstarter. The decision to bring this to you, our backers, was out of a feeling that you have put your trust in us - in me - and I want to make sure that is not taken lightly.

In your last two updates #10+11 you talk about "transparency". Well, then please be transparent and do not hide these two important updates as "For backers only" but make them open to public - including potential backers. There are still people interested in funding this project even after reaching the 50-grand-goal. They should know abpout the issues with your Amazon Payment account and possible suspension of the project. Don't you tkink so?

Great!!! Looking forward to the T-shirt (hopefully not just black color). Also, how do we make suggestions for what we would like to see in the the program or operation thereof.

    30. Robert Oliveira on June 4, 2012

Woo-Hoo! Congrats to the Teknision team for reaching their Kickstarter funding threshold. As a backer I look forward to being able to use Chameleon on my first Android tablet, which I will be purchasing very soon.

Question: Any reason why Chameleon won't work on Moto Xoom or Sammy GTab 2? :)

    31. DamnCatOnMyDesk
      on June 4, 2012

Well now that it has been met, you guys need to put out a new milestone. Let's see what we can do with the remaining 10 days! ;)

Just a thought...Chameleon lockscreen. I would pay money.

    42. Christopher M. Green on June 4, 2012

Come on people spread the word more. This IS something that is needed for tablets. Lets make this happen so current and future tablets can have this as an OEM standard. A true UI, not a background with icons or widgets. Icons and widgets are the past and UI "Chameleon" is the future and I want to be part of that future. I changed my pledge from $10 to $25

    43. Siddharth M on June 4, 2012
