“Deathfire: Ruins of Nethermore” gets Kickstarted!

Many of you are by now aware of my latest project, “Deathfire: Ruins of Nethermore,” I presume, and since you were a backer of my previous project, “Thorvalla,” I thought you might be interested in hearing that we are currently lining up a Kickstarter campaign for “Deathfire: Ruins of Nethermore.”

The campaign will go live on Wednesday, November 6, so please mark your calendar and stop over to check out the campaign when we go live.

If you haven’t been following recent updates for the new game, feel free to take a look at the official “Deathfire” website at http://www.deathfiregame.com where we are hosting screenshots, massive details about the game and a lot of background information about the development process.

Thank you for your support in the past, I hope I will be able to welcome you once again as a backer for “Deathfire : Ruins of Nethermore” on November 6, especially since we will offer special perks for first-day backers!

You'll give us another update here, then?

What picked my eye with thorvalla was the uncommon subject of the game and the hope the find some Nordic mythology. I don't know what to think of this game, I think you should focus on the universe and campaign background description to attract people. From the images we can see from now, the game seems like a generic RPG. Good Luck :)

Yes, there will be both, boxed Mac and Linux versions of the game. Naturally, it will all be DRM-free.

      I hope there's a Mac boxed version!

You know, you could also give us old Thorvalla backers a bit of a perk too, for our faith in you beforehand :)

Nice, will be waiting for the KS, and avoid things like exclusive in-game content only for backers

I agree with alcaray; specifically, Linux support is my requirement, and DRM-free means just like Desura standalone downloads, Humble Bundle non-Steam games, or how GOG.com does (except that they are not capable of supporting Linux).

I *have* been following the concept's progress in various ways, and I am interested in the concept itself. It has a lot of promise, and looks to be deep, fun, and intriguing! :-)

I will look at your sales pitch and contribute if I like it. Make sure you do a good job of explaining what kind of game it is, and what platforms it is for. And let us know how you intend to distribute it and if it will be DRM-free.
