The goal was intentionally kept low as the game can be funded using a print on demand manufacturing process. This is not as cost efficient as trying to fund for 1,500 backers and mass production, but it does ensure that those people that are truly interested in the game get a chance to have their copy.
This was also kept low to allow FunDaMental Games to see all the stages of creation, funding, and fulfillment for a game. A lot of time and energy has been spent reading, listening, and watching articles, podcasts, and videos but you cannot truly understand a Kickstarter experience start to finish unless you run one.
Thanks to all of the backers out there that are trusting in this first-time KS creation!
