About this Project
Full Measure, the University of Pennsylvania’s Christian a cappella group, is releasing its fifth album, “As We Wait”, this upcoming spring! This CD will feature Full Measure members from 2009-2011, providing an a cappella twist to contemporary Christian music. “As We Wait” will be comprised of 16 total tracks from such artists as Chris Tomlin, Phil Wickham, Brooke Fraser, Hillsong, and many more! A few examples include:

“You Won’t Relent” - Jesus Culture
“The House You’re Building” - Audrey Assad

About Our Group
Founded in the spring of 1991, Full Measure was formed to bring a Christian message into the burgeoning a cappella scene on the University of Pennsylvania’s campus. Full measure's name is derived from Ephesians 3:16-19.
"I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."
Full Measure is constantly seeking to define what it means to be a “Christian” a cappella group. We hope that we are not merely singing Christian songs, or putting on the “right Christian attitude.” Instead, we hope to be inspired by the Holy Spirit, not our own ambitions, to spread the Gospel on Penn’s campus, the greater Philadelphia area, and beyond. Our mission statement is as follows:
“In acknowledgment and celebration of God’s sovereignty, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to worshipfully compel others to know Jesus Christ more through music and our lives.”
How Can You Help?
Our goal is set at $1000 in order to help cover costs involved with the final manufacturing process. As a student-led group, we do feel that $1000 is a sizeable amount for us to raise. In order to cut down on our costs, we have already been putting a lot of our own time and effort to record, edit, and master this full-length album. With this final step ahead of us, we would really appreciate YOUR help to finish this project!
As we finalize the tracks, you can help us make the CD become a reality by choosing one of the rewards on the right! As a group, we really believe that our CD will be a great means to share our faith and to encourage all people. “As We Wait” is set to be released at the end of April and we hope that you can help us make our dream come true!
