Titanium and Copper Versions are Here.. Pictures and Upgrade Instructions!!

They're in! The Copper and Titanium upgrade material versions of the Eclipse have arrived and we have lots of glorious pictures to share with you to show you what you can expect with these two options. Furthermore, now that we have these versions in, we have upgrade instructions (+$10/ea) if you choose to select these versions as your reward. See below for the instructions.

Here are some nice pictures. You will notice some slight differences in these samples from the initial samples we have shown so far in the campaign pictures and video. We will give another update later this week describing these differences and design improvements which will be added to all models, not just the copper and titanium versions..

Two new versions (Copper on left, Titanium on right):

 Copper Version:

 Titanium version:

Here is a comparison between the titanium and stainless steel versions:

Here is a picture of all of the available reward versions. Sorry, we are missing the blue link version but we ran out of G10 scale prototype samples so we just show the blue links upgrade as the links only. We have pictures of this version in other updates if you haven't seen it yet:

And here is a video of these two versions. Note, gloves were worn to avoid adding patina to the copper, we still have plenty of pictures to take. We will, however, show how the copper patina's later in the campaign:

**NOW WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, HERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR PLEDGING FOR THESE UPGRADED MATERIALS**

___________________________________________________

Remember, you don't have to follow these steps if you are choosing the Silver, Black, Natural G10, or Blue links versions of the Eclipse. The following applies if you want to pledge for the upgraded Titanium or Copper versions shown in the pictures above:

Instructions if you are a new backer:

Step 1. Click on either the "Back this project" button to bring up the rewards menu, or select a reward from the right side pane of the campaign page and click on the reward to bring up the funding amount box

Step 2. When entering the reward amount, you can add the upgrade price of +$10 to the reward for each Eclipse you want to upgrade. You don't have to specify copper or titanium yet, we will send a survey at the end to get your selections. We will not be able to offer you the copper or titanium if you don't add the upgrade fee during the campaign. Also, remember you can only upgrade up to the number of Eclipse you are pledging for so if you pledged for the Early Bird, you can only upgrade 1 Eclipse (+$10), while the Double Early Bird can upgrade for up to 2 (+$20 total), and the Triple Early Bird can upgrade for up to 3 (+$30). You don't have to upgrade all of your rewards, just the number of rewards you want in Titanium or Copper. Once you enter the amount you can click "continue" to enter your payment option. You can always edit this until the end of the campaign so there is no worries if you make a mistake here. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Instructions if you have already backed a reward:

Step 1. From the campaign page, scroll down slightly until the "Manage your pledge" button appears to the right of the project tabs. Click this button to enter the rewards menu.

Step 2. Next to the reward you pledged for, click the button that says "Change your pledge" to bring up the pledge amount box.

Step 3. Edit the amount shown in the "Pledge amount" box. When entering the reward amount, you can add the upgrade price of +$10 to the reward for each Eclipse you want to upgrade. You don't have to specify copper or titanium yet, we will send a survey at the end to get your selections. We will not be able to offer you the copper or titanium reward if you don't add the upgrade fee during the campaign. Once you enter the amount you can click "continue" to confirm your payment option. You can always edit this until the end of the campaign so there is no worries if you make a mistake here. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Step 4. Click confirm in the final dialog box to confirm your changes.

If you have any questions about the above instructions please let us know by messaging us or in the comments on the campaign. Again, you will be given a reward survey at the end of the project asking which material you want for each Eclipse you backed. If you did not put in the upgrade for the Titanium or Copper we may not be able to send you these versions and will ask you to select one of the 4 standard options (Silver, Black, Natural G10, or Blue Links).

Thanks for all of your support so far, we are more than halfway through the campaign! We will update soon when we receive the production blades and demonstrate all of the design improvements of the production version of the Eclipse. If you haven't yet done so, we would really appreciate it if you shared our campaign on your social media:

@Lillian Sorkin: You'd have to purchase two different knives with the parts you want, take the two knives apart, and recombine them in the way you want. @Creator is not offering the various options in combination with one another, only alone.

What if I wanted to upgrade to copper, but also wanted blue links too? Thanks!
