BoD Update - Fulfillment Update 2, Dice Bazaar, Indie Game Alliance, & Happy Holidays!
For the past two and a half weeks I've been in contact with the shipping company, trying to get things moving forward as fast as I can during this holiday season. As well as learning quite a bit about shipping and fulfillment in order to avoid these kind of delays in the future.
In the interest of keeping everyone up to date I made a "timeline" image that I will be updating frequently on the front of the campaign. This way, at a glance everyone can see exactly where we are in the process. :)
While Battle of Durak has been in this waiting period for us, I have been working hard on my next game, Dice Bazaar, a family friendly dice game. Please, take a look at this preview link to the Kickstarter campaign.
Dice Bazaar has received a lot of amazing feedback and reviews and I am happy to say that I will be launching the campaignJanuary 4th, 2016. I'm so excited to share this game with the world and I really hope you like it. :)
Game Demonstrator / Playtester Opportunities with Indie Game Alliance:
Greetings, backers! I wanted to take a moment and let you know about an exciting program we're proud to be a part of.
We are members of the Indie Game Alliance, one of over 270 independent publishers in that organization. IGA provides a variety of awesome services for its members, but what we really wanted to talk about today is their Minion corps.
Minions are volunteer demo reps and playtesters that show off IGA member games (including ours) at their local game stores and conventions. Every time a Minion shows a game, he or she files a simple report, which takes less than 20 seconds on a mobile device, and earns Loot Points. Loot Points can then be redeemed on indiegamealliance.com for games and exclusive loot from a variety of IGA member publishers; you won't be limited to just earning our games as rewards. Loot Points can also be redeemed for convention badge reimbursement and other benefits. There's no minimum time commitment and no cost to be a part of the program. Your Loot Points are earned based on the time you spend demoing, so the more you do, the more you earn.
Chances are, as a fan of Kickstarter games, you already have a few supported games - especially if you backed our campaign at a level that had a copy as a reward. If you use BoardGameGeek.com to track your game collection, you can enter your BGG username at https://www.indiegamealliance.com/usercollection.php to see every IGA-supported game you already have on your shelf.
IGA's team of Minions helps us, and many more independent designers and publishers, get exposure that is critical to our growth. If you think you'd be a good fit for the program, please consider signing up at www.indiegamealliance.com, and helping them to help us.
On that note, I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hope you all get to spend some time with family and loved ones maybe play a game or two. ;)
Talk to you soon,
