Frontier is a Michigan-based barbershop quartet founded in 2015 by two sets of best friends that wanted to make music together. After three years of competing and singing shows across the world, we won the 2018 Next Generation Varsity Barbershop Quartet Contest. Following the competition, we wanted to immortalize the sound and style that makes us unique. So after months of research, planning and preparation, we are excited to announce the launch of our first CD:
This 12-song CD will be engineered, recorded and mixed at KK Sounds studio in Indianapolis, Indiana by producer Kohl Kitzmiller. All contributions and preorders will go toward helping to cover costs of recording, mixing, mechanical licensing, artwork and printing.
We are planning to release the CD at the Barbershop Harmony Society’s International Convention in early July 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

We are so grateful to be a part of a network of singers and artists from around the world that have already supported us since we started this journey almost four years ago. An initial thanks goes out to Doug and Lynn Weaver along with the entire Pioneer District, who have been our number one fans from the beginning, and are a pivotal reason we are able to produce this album.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for visiting our KICKSTARTER page.

Risks and challenges
We have already been in the studio and recorded our first three tracks and have the rest of our sessions on the books! As for funding, we have already put up the money for the first half of the album and have the funds set aside for the licensing, mastering and duplication. We need your help with the rest!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
