Various and Sundry Other Things
Whew! Well, the Blight pdf is in the process of rolling out, and the books are at the printer and should be shipping within the next couple of weeks. Of course, that is not the end of what we owe you, the backers, for this Kickstarter, so I wanted to make a quick post to let you know A) that we know that, and B) what the future looks like for the remaining pieces.
With the release of the big book and all the other print books, that will take care of all the actual physical products other than the two decks of Blight Maladies GM Reference Cards. There are also some pdf-only products outstanding, so I'll go through these with you:
Blight Maladies - These two decks of cards have gone through writing and development. They are currently in the process of conversion and layout and will then be going to print. My understanding is that their printer turnaround time is much shorter than that of the book. I don't know that they'll make it back in time to go out with the physical copies of the book or if they'll follow on in a separate mailing shortly thereafter.
Scoured to the Bone - this is the short fiction by Richard and set in the Blight. It actually ties in as a sort of prequel to the Levee adventure path included in the main book. The story has been written and has gone through editing and development. It is basically awaiting layout at this point and will then get distributed to all the backers who purchased it.
Blight Pathologies - We unlocked 7 of these in the KS. This are short articles, encounters, tidbits, etc. that are essentially the equivalent of one of our Lost Lore pdfs yet are Blight-specific. Of the 7 I've got 4 in various stages of completion and 3 in various stages of development. I'm going to chipping at these over the coming months as I get them in from the authors and then turning them around and getting them out to you as they come. So these will have the longest tail on them as they will all go through the same editing, developing, conversion process and will also have some art and possibly even cartography needs. But I wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about them in the shadow of the big book and that they are underway. Since they have no printer needs, they will be basically be ready for distribution as each one is finished, so they were set aside to make sure we got through the things that did need to go to the printer.
Those three items are the last of the Blight KS products (unless I'm forgetting something), so I wanted to let you all know where we stood on them and what to expect.
Thanks again for the support and sorry for the long delay. I hope the books you're receiving are living up to your expectations and that the extra time they took are at least paying off in their utility.
