Photos of me taking photos for you.

So, in addition the great shots that are going to be your prints, I took plenty of other photos. Stupid photos of me doing things! I figured, if you're really into the backstory behind some of the New Zealand series, maybe you'll be interested in photos of me in strange places.

Obviously none of the following shots are getting printed, haha, but maybe they'll provide some context to your prints of how I got there. The chasms, mountains, and rivers I had to cross. I also shattered my camera's LCD screen in New Zealand, but overall it was totally worth it. :)

Just over ONE DAY left on the project. So get excited, tell your friends, have a beer!

So here. Photos of me taking photos for you:

Look at your fancy adventure shoes! You're like a real person! AH!

Mostly, yes. I was alone on all of my hikes, but New Zealand has an amazing system of trails, huts, and campsites. It was a lot of me setting my camera on the ground / tripod to take pictures of myself though.

The only guided area I went to was the Franz Josef glacier. Which you totally need to be in a group for in order to prevent death, haha. The ice conditions there change rapidly.

Were you trekking sans guide out there? Or just point in a direction and take off, eh?
