It’s a wrap!

A little over 12 months ago, two lifelong friends started kicking around an idea for a new tabletop game. Today, 248 backers joined us in bringing that game to life. It is an absolute pleasure to say that Shattered Earth is on its way!

Thanks to you - our amazing community - we will be continuing with the production of all wave one miniatures and the softcover rulebook for delivery as soon as possible. We can’t wait to get the game into your hands and start hearing about the battles you will be fighting all around the world! We’re incredibly excited to continue interacting with such an amazing community to help support and play the game.

We will continue to keep you guys up to date on the status of the miniatures, the artwork, the rules, and everything connected to Shattered Earth. If you haven't already done so, remember to like us on Facebook to keep up to date with all things Massive and Awesome. And, if you'd like to continue talking about the game with your fellow backers, please head on over to our official forums.

What happens next?

We now enter a 14 day 'holding pattern' while Kickstarter charges everybody's cards and, following that, we will move all the pledges over to BackerKit. Our pledge manager will let you fine tune your order, and you'll be able to edit it as many times as you want until we lock everything down for fulfilment. We anticipate leaving the pledge manager open for between 2 and 3 months; look for an invitation to join towards the end of the month.

Are you attending any events?

We will have a booth at Salute in London on April 16th (booth TK19) showing off the pro-painted miniatures and our amazing display board, demoing the game, and answering any questions you may have. If you’re in London and able to attend, please come over to our booth and say hello - we’d love to start meeting our supporters in person!

And finally...

This last year - and especially this last month - have been a real roller-coaster ride and now we stop working towards launching a product, and start working towards supporting that product. With your help, we will continue to improve and grow. It’s been an honour to start this journey with you all and we hope you’re in for the long haul - we certainly are.

Congratulations on getting funded. The hard work is ahead, but you have a core group of people to build and grow the game with, and that's got to feel great.

Looking forward to seeing the CotOTG progress.

@James: Absolutely! As long as the pledge manager remains open you can tweak and tune your pledge as much as you want.

      Hey Simon and John,

Congratulations guys! My payment is slightly delayed. Working toward the start and end of weekends, banks, bills and all that. Will have it in in a few days.

Silly question here, but the pledge manager opening down the line will let me access buying stuff I did not pledge for on top of my pledge, say, if I wanted Vampires for the deathless?

@Jean-edou: It's certainly possible - any money we make from here on will all go back into the game anyway. We have Wave 2 to develop, plus the eventual hardback rulebook - there's plenty more to come, that's for sure!
