Frenby | The First Wearable + Individual Stand-alone AI Assistant
Both wearable and individual, Frenby is the World's smallest Stand-alone portable A.I. assistant capable of operation without connection to any auxiliary smart device. Before Frenby, wearable A.I. assistants relied on smart phone pairing. With Frenby, no need to be tied down to your smart phone. Access all the convenience of your regular smart home speaker with the added portability unique to Frenby: the tiny stand-alone A.I. Assistant.
How does it work?
The Inconvenience of current A.I. Speakers
When working properly, A.I. speakers offer endless convenience in performing daily tasks. Amazon Echo, Google Home and other speakers all have the same limit - they’re stuck in place. This is inconvenient for two reasons:
1. you have to move in-range to be heard
2. voice commands can be misheard in noisy surroundings.
Stop hearing “SORRY” from your A.I. Assistant and stop repeating yourself again and again. Have your commands heard loud and clear with Frenby, a personal assistant that follows you wherever you go.

Ask "frenby" anytime, anywhere
Why limit smart speaker functionality to the home? Capable of operation in any location with connection to WiFi, use Frenby as a personal assistant wherever you go. As a wearable, Frenby moves with you and can assist you as you move room to room, to your car or practically anywhere.
You’ve got a Friend in Frenby
Frenby can be a friend to the elderly or visually impaired, who have difficulty using smartphones. It also makes good friends with children. With one-touch and command operation, Frenby offers a simplified user experience and clearer voice recognition. Whether your child or grandmother, Frenby opens up accessibility to A.I. speaker technology. Ask "frenby" anytime, anywhere
We have dreamed of communicating with all devices via voice anytime, anywhere. When Amazon launched its first AI speaker echo, we thought it was time for a voice user interface. Unfortunately, current AI speaker is in a fixed position in one place. Therefore, it is not easy to use while moving or in loud noises.
We thought of various ways to solve these problems. The best option would be to have a system like Star Trek, but we decided to make AI speakers small like a combadge.
After about a year of development, we made prototypes of "frenby". We wish "frenby" to be a great companion for housewives, children, the elderly, and the disabled.

Risks and challenges
We have already completed the prototype six months ago and have been continuously improving performance and design so far. We think there is no big risk to the performance of the product. We are currently in the process of making molds, and we are making plans for assembly and packaging.
Therefore, the current major risk is the issue of mass production.
We know that adherence to delivery time is as important as the quality of the product, so the delivery time was set with two months margin.
We fully understand from our previous experience that there are many unexpected problems with mass production. In order to reduce this risk, schedule management is very strict. The mold, assembly, and packaging will be thoroughly carried out, and the partner responsible for this is experienced and very reliable in this field.
Along with major risks, we are improving the wake words functionality to provide more convenience to our users. You may think that this feature is not needed for touch-enabled products. However, when the product is connected to a power source, it will be very convenient for users. We will continue to improve this capability until delivery.
We will post progress at least every other week, and listening to additional product improvements.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
