      #Ceators : Could you list websites/magazines to which you've send speakers samples ? (lol)

      I may be biased due to having a first look version in my hands but believe me, if the creator can fix the cut outs in dual mode then it would be worth waiting for the fixed versions.

      As requested i will try to do a couple of pics / videos tomorrow.

      To be honest it just feels he updated his old blog post with a new post of the new specs.
      Nothing is tested.
      So we're all going to have to wait another 2 months for this power issue to be fixed.

      When we receive this speaker it's going to be decent. Not as good as we were all promised when we backed. At least David got a nice vacation in China.

      Ok, so he's got black speakers that have a white back? Really "convincing" fellas.
      Yep, looks like a sales pitch to me. Not convinced at all.
      Shame on you Frankenspiel!

      @Crispin
      I took a look at the emails of each post / reply - 'twas starting to get a bit close to the mark.

      There was perhaps expectation (rightly or wrongly, that's another debate) by each person posting that Andrew was up to speed about the FS-X Campaign history / much longer than forecast delivery.....

      Many frustrated people out there......

      @Edward Wilcox
      Yup clearly a blog and Andrew on the receiving end of some strong stuff that I suggested would follow.....

      I've read 90%+ I guess of the comments and update comments on this FS-X KS Campaign and I'm as frustrated as everyone; I'm just relatively silent.

      I was just putting forward facts and events as they very quickly developed this afternoon........

      I too can see why it was closed down; I should be flattered I guess / I tip my hat to Andrew for retaining my post after all this includes my link to the KS Comments page; he's giving people the opportunity to check and draw their own conclusions.

      I really hope he did had a listen of the FS-X's and indeed '1ST REVIEW' not the wisest choice of words by FS...........

      I don't agree with rude or aggressive commenting either, there are other ways of expressing disappointment without attacking people.
      What I found most interesting, bordering on slightly suspicious or at least eyebrow-raising, was the complete omission of anything around Kickstarter or even crowd-funding, and it certainly didn't contain a link to the campaign page. That genuinely puzzled me.

      @Lee Roberts - He is flat out saying it is just a blog post, not a review. He uploaded a stock older pic... and now has corrected it,I also noticed that. IT could have been an innocent mistake. I hope he really had gotten a set to listen to and is correctly representing his opinion on how they sound. He did also say that it wasnt an advertisement. I can understand that he closed the comments on his article. If I were him, I would also. The comments people are getting used to posting here turn my stomach. Comments on some of the projects I have backed are over the top. I am not saying yours are btw. Just some dont know when to stop.

      Some were very nice, others were bordering on crossing the line. He has his own site and can censor what he wants. Another thing I would do would also talk with FS and have them take down the title of 1st REVIEW so that they are not misrepresenting his blog post.

      Were there really "obscenities being posted, and the threats being made in some posts"?! Or reviewer just didn't like criticism of his article (which was pretty fluffy blog post and not a review) so he shut comments?

    10. Lee Roberts on

      @bsl100
      Yup comments closed - 'twas up to 13 posts / replies. I have an email of each from the site Andrew uses to host his page as I registered interest after my initial post.

      Also hastily uploaded (correct) photo of the rear of the FS-X with micro USB after earlier comment.

      ........the end of a 'beautiful friendship' between Andrew & Frankenspiel..... ?

    11. Edward Wilcox on

      Ok. So that really wasn't a review. Just a blog post comments ting on his impressions of the product. So is he going to do a real review? I am still excited to get my one. But maybe you should change the title of this update. He flat out says it isn't a review.

      Already a some feedback / comments appearing beneath Andrews article in response to my and other comments being posted......

    15. Lee Roberts on

      I have posted a comment on Andrew's review page, with a link to the 09 July Comments on KS, asking if he suffered any of the issues reported by the first batch recipients.

      Congratulations on a good review; I hope the speakers live up to that promise. My only note of caution/advice is that the reviewer sounds like he has spent more time reading the specs than actually listening to them, which might not be the case, it just sounds that way. It is also interesting, they do not identify any of the glitches your other tester has posted, they can't be completely different units? and I'm very interested in how effective the dual mode really is...if its only 80cm then they might as well be wired, but if a few meters that its really something good. Fingers-crossed!
