Hello everyone,

We’re moving onto the final few weeks of the project and everything is coming to a close!

Backers ‘First Look’

The Backers ‘First Look’, and other units for review, are almost ready and they’ll be sent in the next few days.

Here’s what they’ll receive, in these fancy packages:

  • 2 x FS-X
  • 1 x Audio cable
  • 1 x Micro USB cable
  • 1 x Y cable

BackerKit

We’re still missing a very small minority of backers who have yet to complete their surveys or enter payment details for their add-ons. So if you’re reading this and can’t remember doing this, please check your Kickstarter email address for confirmation or reminder emails from BackerKit.

For those few who do not choose their colour schemes, we will issue the most popular choice.

Here’s a reminder of our timeline.

June

Well almost a week ago the creator mentioned that the first look backer versions would be shipped within a few days. A week later and nothing has arrived, not even a dispatched email. I think the problem so far with this project is the difficulty in understanding the concept of time.

Glad to know Frankenspiel moved the world 1 month forward, so the next week it's 1st of July and we'll finally get our hands on the Frankenspiel FS-X!

Well, if the speakers are all packaged in June, we should expect to receive them in the UK in early July (yeah right).

I'm not even sure how you can call this an update. This just has the information we already know from the past "updates". But at least they're trying. Just hope that we really do get the speaker at least this year.

I have to admit this has indeed stretched all of the backers patience. Once they arrive and they are as good as they look, all will be forgiven. Stay focused chaps and chapettes! Best of luck.

@creators: please don't put the price on there when you are sending it! I will have to pay customs taxes on that!! Not cool!

@Creators: Don't push link to bigger image. Could be an issue if backers can look at the product !!!!

@Tyler.... though I am personally disgusted this project has taken a year.. a year more than it should have (and I have since gotten other speakers).... July could also mean end of July... so 5 weeks... not simply one.
I am sure that if this actually ships in July (which I highly doubt).. it will be the very last minute in July.

From the lack of any information to the contrary, is it safe to assume that the timeline is on schedule and you will have finished the final assembly of FS-X units (just a few days after finishing the for the 'First Look' and review units) in a week?

Can I get one of those flight cases?!? :)

All sounds good. Just curious as to why the first look versions are "almost ready"? What needs to be done? It looks like everything is ready in the pictures.
