China Pt. 4 (An Update from the Creator)

Posted by Frankenspiel Ltd. (Creator)

Hello everyone,

We’re finishing up the last few things here in China.

I’ve rebooked my flight back to London for Thursday 18th June. Admittedly this does leave us with a tighter schedule to complete final assembly and packaging by the end of June but this shouldn’t be a problem. We’re entering a partnership with a fulfillment company who are extremely efficient and experienced. They will also be dealing with customer service enquiries so you’ll have a number to call and an address to email in the event of any delivery complications.

I’ll be personally bringing back the 50 units for test & review on the 18th, as well as some exciting new samples of products to come! These new products are ready now, so we are eagerly awaiting your feedback on the FS-X before we move forward.

I’m very busy so there’s more pictures on their way. Here’s a few of the drivers, ready to ship to Amsterdam.

We appreciate your comments about the colour scheme of the fastcharger.

These chargers will now be black, with our logo, resembling the FS-X theme.

Backers ‘First Look’

A member of our team will be in touch with the 5 participants over the next few days.

To answer a few FAQs:

  • Backers chosen for testing will receive stereo sets, not individual units.
  • The FS-Xs will not be delivered in the final Kickstarter packaging, the final packaging is unique and it will have appropriate compartments for all accessories and gifts.
  • The stereo sets will come without accessories.
  • ‘First Look’ backers will receive their FS-Xs towards the end of June.

Please ignore this section of the update if you do not want to edit your BackerKit choices and/or address.

We will be locking down BackerKit choices and addresses over the next few days so please edit these today if you intend to. Please visit our last update for information on how to do so.

Here’s a reminder of our timeline.

@Danny Dierickx Are the charts very ugly?

Can the charger be bought with multiple plug types? Is an Aussie plug being made?

Yeah... Keeping dead lines and time estimates is one of your strengths. No problems there...

@Creator. Thank you for the update. I'm kind of suprised at the apparent difficulty in taking photos for around three weeks now but still... fair enough.

I understand that @David is due back in the UK on the 18th February with some units. That's great news.

During the course of this campaign someone identified a few locations where Frankenspiel have offices. One of which is London and another is in Folkestone. Could you confirm if you are in deed based in Folkestone. I live 20 minutes from here and would love to pop by. Not only would this save time on postage etc but also allow me to get any thoughts / reviews back up on here sooner.
