Earth 2 Hub is taking some exciting twists and turns thanks to some new doors that have opened. We’re popping this Kickstarter project on pause and will be making an exciting announcement soon. In the meantime, many thanks indeed to everyone that supported this campaign with pledges, shares, tweets and more! Watch this space...
We bring together creatives, scientists and technologists to explore how new science and new technology could positively impact on the future. Illustration, animation, film, web, mobile, publishing and events are a few of the tools we’ve used when presenting those possible futures.
Earth2Hub.com beta has just won the ‘Best Visual Design Award’ and been nominated in the Top 5 to win ‘Best in Category’ in the Geekie Awards. This, together with plenty of positive feedback, encouragement and praise suggests people like what we’re doing!
Having tinkered with mobile during our alpha and spent 18 months researching and developing app concepts, we’ve set our sights on building Earth 2 Hub App.
EARTH 2 HUB APP
Earth 2 Hub App will bring you farsighted future visions on-the-go; original Earth 2 Hub creations, including short films, animations, illustrations and conversations exploring how new science, technology and thinking may help us to build a brighter future for people and planet.
We’ve developed a unique and intuitive circular navigation interface, which colour-coded, is designed make Earth 2 Hub App easy and fast to use. Social media is implemented as part of Earth 2 Hub App’s navigation system, allowing you to connect and share from anywhere within the App.
OUR PROGRESS SO FAR
We’ve researched and developed mock-ups, the App GUI, wireframing and storyboards. The project plan is defined, the software requirement specification is complete, as are test plan/cases.

Risks and challenges
Earth 2 Hub team has already spent 18 months researching and developing the Earth 2 Hub app. In this time we’ve researched emerging tech trends, listened to advice from industry peers and partners, explored a range of technical routes, experimented with creative concepts, and most importantly listened to the feedback from our community of supporters. We’re expecting the unexpected, because tech glitches of one or another variety invariably present themselves in a project such as this. If all goes to plan, we’ll have Earth 2 Hub app built and in testing early September, and loaded and live later that month. However, aware that a bug or two may rear their heads we’ve given an estimated delivery time of October 2013.
