"There has been a huge resurgence of pixel style artwork in both video and tabletop games, and I’m quite alright with that. Pixel Glory uses this style to build an auction, dungeon delving, deck building game. This three attack combo is a knockout." - Jason Hancock
You play a wizard who along with a few other wizards are about to embark on a quest to save a village from a dungeon! However, you are a selfish, greedy, fame-driven wizard who is all about their own personal glory, and the other members in your group are equally self-driven. While you and the other wizards may in appearance be working together to kill all the monsters, only the player that deals fatal damage to the monster gets to add the kill to their collection and get the fame for it.
The first phase of the game has wizards in town learning their spells via an auction-based draft. The wizards then enter the dungeon with their deck of spells where they will be clearing out the dungeon.

Pixel Glory is being published by the Zafty team. The game was designed by Frank Alberts and Russell Ng with art by Russell Ng. Frank is an industry professional working in project management roles as well as being the game designer of SNAFU and other projects to be released by publishers later this year. Russell is a jack of all trades, fresh out of school with a Computer Science degree from Hunter College. Frank and Russell gained a large amount of inspiration for Pixel Glory while playing old-school games on Russell's home-made arcade console.
