it has always been about you and how far you take us. come be a part of something we'll remember for the rest of our lives.
Listen.... the LAST THING we ever wanted to do was come to our fans and ask for assistance, but actually its come to that point. We have a plethora of songs that we are very excited about, and just need to raise the funds to go record them with the right people. Then we can release new Framing Hanley to you guys. Our goal is set at $40,000 and with that we have intentions of recording a brand new album and shoot a music video for the "single." IF WE RAISE BEYOND OUR GOAL, we will put the funds towards the promotion of our new release. The promotion of a new record independently will be VERY expensive in itself. Also, TOURING costs LOTS of money, so if we exceed our goal that will only help us take this record/show on the road and see all of your faces all across this country and this globe...so if we raise beyond $40k the money will still be going somewhere other than our pockets.
We have been on the fence about kickstarter for awhile, because we didn't want our fans to think we were asking for their money to line our pockets. The reality is we all have families to take care of and the reason we've been MIA as of late is because we all had to find other work during this downtime to provide for ourselves and our families. So we don't have the money necessary to fund the band's recording (or anything else for that matter lol) at this time. We are NOT trying to take advantage of our fans, so please know that. We understand that there are people working multiple 40+ hour jobs a week to provide for their families, so we know that not everyone could offer any assistance to us...and that is completely okay! But if you CAN help, even if we received $1 from every fan of our's (there's over 355k of you on facebook) that would be an amazing accomplishment for this project and the band. It would go a long way for our band's future/career and what we could realistically do with this next release. I'd like to think that we've put up some pretty awesome rewards available for your generous donations, so hopefully its money well spent in your eyes if you DO donate anything.
The reality is this: we are at a very weird but EXCITING spot for our band right now. We are finally "free" of a label to release our music how we want to our fans, which has made us happy as hell. However, there are obviously still obstacles that require cash. Cash that we don't have. Its been a great 5+ years for us, and we've seen a lot of great things. We've been to a lot of amazing places and met a lot of truly remarkable people that we're lucky to call fans. But, I'd like to think that these past 5 years have only been the beginning. We're not ready to "hang it up." We're writing better songs and at a place creatively that has me so amped for our future, but right NOW, we need your help if you can help at all.
also, the scrim mentioned below in reward #14 is the one kinda seen onstage in this photo (it is pretty damn huge (that's what she said), so don't let the photo throw you off): https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=155603654485729&set=o.17513667383&type=3&theater & https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=167891033248563&set=o.17513667383&type=3
(if you can't see the photo its because you haven't "liked" our FH facebook page, so shame on you)...(either that or you're not logged in, so do that too)
ALSO, a lot of the timeline for estimation of delivery on these rewards won't be as long of a wait as listed, i just thought it was best to put it longer than shorter incase something happened that prevented us from getting these rewards to you in a timelier manner
Unfortunately Kickstarter only allows you to pledge once per account, BUTTTTTT you can create as MANY accounts as you want to in order to pledge multiple times for different tiers. whatever floats your boat ;-)
No. Each tier comes specifically with what it says EXCEPT ANYTHING PLEDGED $15 AND OVER gets an advance digital download of our new record ONE WEEK before release date.
Middle Tennessee. If not Nashville, then Lebanon.
