Hey, guys! It's still a slow start, but I (Larry) am working hard to continue getting eyes on this! Again, I feel like one celebrity tweets it and we're good to go. One famous nerd site posts it and we're set. It's all about reaching that platform! So I keep doing what I can in the hopes that somebody with a much larger reach than myself will notice and help us spread the word.
We've only made $2,669 of our $45,000 goal so it's a long shot. Still, I really am trying to keep the faith and I refuse to give up on this one.
-Myself and pro wrestler Stevie Richards both just did interviews for a fanboy news/wrestling site called fearofaghostplanet.com. It's not huge, but hopefully it'll catch on with other wrestling news sites and spread the word.
-I was also interviewed by "The Patch" (owned by the Huffington Post) about a documentary we shot cross-country called "Before the World Goes Boom". Now, that seems unrelated to Four Tanks, but if The Post picks it up, it'll rain down lots of attention onto all of our projects, and that's what Four Tanks needs!
-Also, I drove to Kent State University and spoke to a couple of bars about holding a "Four Tanks" night. I got the 3rd floor of a really trendy college bar to let us hold a 100 or so person-filled extravaganza in celebration of "Four Tanks and a Healer" that will encourage the town's students to help out and help spread the word about this local project.
- I've started a blog after having a lot of people recommend the idea to me. It is right HERE: http://larrylongstreth.blogspot.com/
I haven't blogged yet, but I will tonight. I'll make it totally fanboy material-oriented! Maybe I'll interview some nerd celebs! Anything to help get attention onto "Four Tanks and a Healer"!
Thanks for all of the help pledging and spreading the word guys. I keep saying it over and over, but I can't do it without lots and lots of help. So, I really do appreciate it!
