Four Saints Brewing Company is a community-minded craft nanobrewery-in-planning, and the first brewery ever in Randolph County, NC.
Hello. Our names are Joel McClosky and Andrew Deming. We are the founders of Four Saints Brewing Company in Asheboro, NC.
The Initial 'Mash'
A few years ago we started brewing beer together; Andrew was the seasoned veteran with over ten years brewing experience, and I was the apprentice. Opening a brewery has been a dream of ours for some time. The more we brewed, the more kindling was added to the idea. Then one day, amidst the research, we read an article about the four patron saints of beer and brewing. “Four Saints? That’d make a great name for a bar or a brewery.” The match had been struck; the kindling lit.
As we saw more and more happening via Asheboro’s Main Street Revitalization efforts, the more we realized Asheboro was ready to support its own nanobrewery. Then last April at the Chili Cook-off the statement was made “We’re seriously doing this; we’re seriously opening a brewery in Asheboro.” The answer was yes we were. And now, we need your help.
'Wort' to Make History?
This is your opportunity to help Four Saints Brewing Company open its doors…and also help make history.
By placing a pledge and becoming one of the first Honorary Saints of Four Saints Brewing Company you would be an integral part of our history…and the history of our community. You see, although brewing beer has been around for thousands of years, Randolph County has never had a brewery. That’s right; Four Saints Brewing Company would be the first brewery in Randolph County, ever. Your support via pledge, great or small, can help us make this happen.
Our 'Fermenting' Mission
We are committed to small batch, hand crafted beers that will resonate the beauty of our local, regional, and state communities. We intend to be one of the best craft beers in North Carolina. And, just like our patron saints of beer and brewing – St. Augustine, St. Luke, St. Nicholas, and St. Wenceslas – we are fully committed to supporting our communities in making our world a better place.
By supporting local charities and organizations through fundraising and partnerships, there are numerous opportunities for Four Saints Brewing Company to give back. We’ve already begun to do this by donating to organizations like the Randolph Partnership for Children and partnering with the North Carolina chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers to bring its national convention to Asheboro.
How Your Pledges Will 'Hop' FSBC
We want to be able to do more, beer and community wise. That’s where you come in. The monies raised during this campaign will go directly to helping us purchase larger equipment to increase production, to help us lock down a great location, and to begin handling the licensing fees which will permit us to pour Potter’s Clay Amber Ale or Stout One into your Honorary Saints mug.
Our 'Cheers' to You
Of course, for your generosity, we will thank you with some pretty sweet Four Saints items. Check out the incentives to your right, including:
- Honorary Saints Mug Club with limited edition mugs from NC potters
- your name permanently displayed on our Wall of Saints for all to see
- limited edition art prints
- free growler fill ups
- early access to new beers
- exclusive opportunity to help us create our St. Luke Ale
One Final 'Pour' for Your Pledge
Without your support, Four Saints Brewing Company will remain a smoldering dream instead of a fully ignited reality. You can help us make history. And, Randolph County will join the craft beer industry that is thriving in places like Asheville and the Triangle, Aberdeen and Hickory and the rest of NC as it charges ahead to distinguish itself as the “State of Southern Beer”.
Join us on this quest. Walk alongside the Saints. Seize this opportunity to help fund Four Saints Brewing Company.
We thank you, from the bottom of our hearts and mugs, for your time and consideration.
And, yes, we are opening a brewery in Asheboro. Seriously.
