Last year we had the pleasure to present Vaults at Spiel. It was an amazing experience and we even met some of the backers there. Games were played, Vaults got cracked and everybody had fun playing Vaults.
*Unfortunately, we cannot offer “Essen pick up” pledge option.
Same as the last campaign, we will fulfill all the rewards ourselves. Since this is EU friendly campaign, EU backers do not have to worry about customs.
Shipping will again be conducted via regular post since we had very little complaints after the last campaign. Tracking is not offered through this campaign. If tracking is important to you, please contact us via the KS messaging system.
Since we had a couple of damaged games after last campaign this time we will take additional special care of securing each and every package for the hardships of shipping.
Shipments to non-EU backers will have 10 EUR declared as the value of the package. That's roughly equivalent to 12 USD / 16 CAD / 16 AUD / 11 CHF / 1260 JPY and should be under the threshold that fall into customs duties in most countries.
Almost a year ago we embarked on an amazing journey and started our first Kickstarter campaign. Since then a lot has changed, 4HOGS became a small company with one clear vision – to bring fun games to your gaming tables. We hope that with your continuous support we will bring more exciting titles to life. Once more, without further ado, we give you a part of the 4HOGS team.
Works as one of the game designers/sales/writer/cleaner/cook at 4HOGS. Some things never change and he is still working on overpowered and imbalanced ideas that we all love and cherish. Oh and yes, he is still waiting for that Bat signal.
Works as 4HOGS CEO. It sounds fancy but what it really means is that he spends most of his time cleaning after ScarHog's brainstorm/development process. He is still our „go to guy“ when it comes to math and game mechanic and he is always brewing new stuff for the future.
Works as an IT consultant and spends every free moment as a game designer and writer. Together with ScarHog he gives charm and soul to our every game. Lately his hobby is browsing through Webster dictionary, eyeballing for a new word for us to learn.
Works as sound technician for the national radio station and like GrammarHog spends his nights in front of the whiteboard. With his unmatched experience with cheating…umm…exploiting, he works hard to ensure that every prototype is well balanced.
We said a part of the team because our crew had become bigger by 600 since our last visit to Kickstarter, and those 600 friends are the steam that keeps our engine going. Our backers of the last campaign made all this possible, their support made Vaults possible and their comments gave us guidelines for creating Deadbolt. Once again, a great big thank you to all those guys and gals!
Risks and challenges
We are firmly committed to making Vaults: Deadbolt a successful project and we can assure you that many hours were spent in preparations and planning towards minimizing risks of backing this project.
However, there are still some obstacles we could encounter along the way and are classified as:
Third project – Although this is the third Kickstarter project we've created, it is not the first game we've designed and we do have experience in running a multi-phase project. Nevertheless, there may be ways we could run a project better that we haven't yet discovered.
Delivery date – our current estimation for delivery is November 2016. There is always a chance for delays caused by third parties. Please understand that this is the last thing we want to happen as our primary release goal is delivery of the game to all backers on time.
Natural disasters or “acts of God” – sadly, we cannot take responsibility for such events, but will try to act immediately and sort out damage control.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
