      Wore it for continuously ten days in Taiwan. The trip involved both city and some trail walking. Shoe performed well. Great job!

      I received my shoes in Sydney Australia a while back with no issues. Enjoying them...but my only gripe is the top front left of my left shoe (above the ankle) is very rough, this causes the shoe to continuously rub on the lower font of my shin and eventually starts scrapping away skin.

      I have to wear a band-aid or patch on my shin otherwise the pain starts with a few hours of walking.

      I got my shoes... still haven't tried them on yet.. (YES I KNOW i"M CRAZY)... they seem a bit tight. Don't know if I have a wide foot or not.... Any "safe" way to stretch them if they seem to fit snuggly, or just try to wear them in for a bit around the house..

      Got my shoes and loved them. Then the side blew out of them. Not sure what happened. I was on a down hill trail, and all of a sudden the leather ripped and exposed the inside of the shoe.

      I live in Sydney and just got mine the other day. I know that they did have some issues with sending overseas with customs etc. so had to change shipping companies. Send them an email though.

      Hey FORSAKErs,

      I just wanted to leave a note that I live in Boulder, CO where there was major rain and 100-year flooding over the past week. While I was one of the lucky ones, I was told at one point to leave my apartment and walk to higher ground since they were worried a 30-foot flood wall was heading our way. What shoes did I lace up? My Forsakes! And they kept me dry during the horrible rains. Thanks!

      The look, and feel AND fit of my thurston is astounding! Especially the fit is amazing! Is it wisely to use a waterproof spray on them to keep 'em extreme clean (and dry)? There ARE a few points i want to discuss about (will contact you later on I forgot, The fabrics you used are extremely high quality!!!

      I like the look of my Thurston model, but I don't think they've passed my use test. They began falling apart on me after only a week's worth of wear!

      First day I got them I began wearing them. Two days later I was off to hit the trails! Broke them in, but they were comfortable when I put them on the first time. When I got back home and unlaced the boots I noticed that the adhesive that holds the inner lining to the heel was already slipping. The heel hasn't ripped through yet, but I think that it would have if I wasn't unlacing and re-lacing them every time I wore them.

      The next day sitting in the office one of the WaterProof metal emblem on the outside of each shoe came off. I pushed it back into the small little holes for the pegs. That didn't stop me from losing it when it came off later and didn't notice it.

      Overall I'm pretty happy with the shoes, but that's just because I got them at a discount. If I paid what they're retailing for on your website I would be disappointed. I won't recommend them for the 110-130 price point when they're falling apart after only a week.

      Received my shoes 3 days ago. They look and fit great (I got the brown-red Pilot). Only downside is the extra $50 custom fees. Shipping was with USPS.
      It's strange that the USPS customs declaration note says that the value is $120 and postage fees are $44 instead of the 115 total I actually paid...

      I finally got my shoes today and they are an amazing fit! (I got the Thurston). The shoes are much sleeker than I thought, I'm very happy with that. I was afraid they would go too much towards 'skater' shoes, but now I would even go as far as saying they are a bit more narrow than 'regular' fit.

      They have a great balance between soft and rigid. With rigid I mean the sort of sturdiness that allows shoes to form to your own foot.

      Only got them for 2 days, but liking them a lot right now! Some friends of mine are liking them as well and looking into ordering a pair of their own :)

      Great project Forsake, good luck keeping the business afloat after this wonderful Kickstart!

      Got my shoes today. Perfect fit! Very satisfied! Sadly, the package was not marked "reward" or "gift", so I had to pay 65$ extra in customs fees, which should not be necessary...

      Dang. I see a lot of people mentioning that they had to pay customs fees and etc. I hope the package is marked as a gift, like Kickstarter rewards should be...? If not, the price will sky rocket for us Norwegians.

      I'm a Canadian backer and UPS asked for over $100 in the typical bogus "customs fees", I currently have a dispute against the fees and the package is in limbo. I'm really disappointed, as you said international shipments were going out USPS, not cool.

      Do I have to just eat these fees on my own? Will you be refunding the costs? Or should I tell UPS to return to sender so these can be re-sent via USPS? Thanks.

      I received my shoes and the quality is outstanding.
      I do need to exchange them for a larger size as they are quite snug.
      Also wondering if I can exchange them for a different style, as the black Hiker style looks much more like ski boots than I anticipated, and a bit out of place in the desert (Tucson, Arizona).

      Received my Hiker shoes in Czech Republic on Friday. They are great.
      I have paid only $23 extra ($10 VAT + $13 brokerage custom fee). And i have told the UPS brokerage office, that the invoice in the parcel is wrong and I have sent my confirmation from Amazon and Kickstarter instead of it. And they have calculated the VAT from the price on Kickstarter ($95+$20).

      UPS CZ Rep is charging extra money only for storage in their warehouse. 5 days are for free, any additional day is for $10 here. I have contacted them and sent them all necessary documents in time and they did not charge me any extra money. It is weird that one company has different rules for every country.

      darksabor, don't count yourself lucky just yet.

      I didn't pay anything on delivery, but got an invoice in the mail a week later.

      Had to pay Swedish sales tax, based on the stated value of goods (which was off the website, thus more than I actually paid) plus UPS' own shipping charges. Then UPS slapped some extra charges on there just because they could.

      Overall, I've paid $130 extra for 2 pairs of shoes.

      UPS didn't ask for any additional taxes in Russia.

      But, I've got 2 issues with this package. First of all, my name on the package label was somehow replaced with my Kickstarter nickname, although it was correct in order confirmation email and another email which I sent to ensure the address was correct. Fortunately, the messenger gave it to me without any major problems. Also, there was a note that claimed that a discount card is included in the box, but there wasn't any.

      Anyway, thanks for nice shoes!

      Timo, it basically states that you should pick your parcel up and pay any costs UPS may ask you to pay. Then sent Forsake a copy of your receipt and they will reimburse you the UPS brokerage fee through PayPal

      I just got my Forsake from UPS with 89$ EXTRA ..... so the price was not 80+20(shipping) but 100 + 89(shipping)...

      Mine have arrived in South Korea and waiting for me at the apartment. Didn't have to pay any additional customs / shipping fees. Hope there a great fit!

      Got mine here in Malaysia. Paid a RM115 in tax which is about 35 USD. :(

      I just got the shoes yesterday and they look great, but I had to pay an $80 COD as well. I wasn't home at the time and my mom ended up covering the COD for me, but after reading the comments it sounds like sending them back to be reshipped is the best course of action. An update on your perspective on the issue would be appreciated.
