Humanium Metal by IM is an award-winning material made of recycled metal from seized illegal firearms. Due to our world class-reputation for quality, we have been trusted to be one of the first companies to collaborate on the Humanium Metal initiative. We decided to put our years of expertise in precision metal manufacturing to create a one-of-a-kind symbol: “a humanium metal spinning top” that you or a loved one will be very proud to own.

ForeverSpin™ tops are made in Canada and are CNC-machined on aerospace-grade lathes from one solid piece of metal for ultimate precision and quality. We meticulously check each and every spinning top to ensure that only perfect tops receive a serial number and carry the ForeverSpin™ seal.
We have been making tops for years and our manufacturing process has continuously evolved in our pursuit of excellence - it is rare to find the level of precision that we achieve in regular everyday objects and you’ll instantly notice the symmetry and texture upon touching our tops for the first time! We actually dedicated a large portion of our research and development to surface finish to improve the overall touch and feel.
Like all the items in our collection each top is assigned a serial number together with holographic security feature on the box to avoid counterfeits. For this kickstarter campaign we are going a step further by providing a certificate of authenticity and a letter personally signed by one of the company founders.
Armed violence is a worldwide epidemic and firearms account for more than 1,500 deaths every day. The cost of armed violence also extends beyond the loss of human life and physical harm as there is a great cost to global insecurity estimated at an annual cost of $400 billion.
This global problem affects impoverished and developing countries the hardest, stunting growth and sustainability of such communities. In 2016, IM Swedish Development Partner introduced Humanium Metal by IM as a way to directly combat this problem and bring about global change. Together with the support of consumers and dedicated companies in the private sector, Humanium Metal by IM aims to reduce violence and empower communities to grow and prosper.

Risks and challenges
Our team has spent countless hours working with IM Swedish Development Partner to add the Humanium Metal top into the ForeverSpin collection - with extensive experience on Kickstarter and through years of feedback and support from the community, our team has continuously improved our process and our communications.
We have taken all necessary precautions to ensure a successful project. However, in manufacturing, there's always a risk of delays. We have added some buffer to minimize the risk and we will be in constant contact with our community.
