Sunday Punch is a 35mm short film about a ring girl, a mute boxer, a small time gangster, and a lonely magician. It stars Dichen Lachman (Joss Whedon's "Dollhouse"), Samm Levine ("Freaks & Geeks", Inglorious Basterds), and David Yow (lead singer of The Jesus Lizard and Scratch Acid).
The film premiered in 2010 at the prestigious Oldenburg Film Festival in Germany and went on to screen at dozens of festivals around the world, winning five awards, including the Grand Prize at Dragon*Con.
So wait... The movie's already finished? And successful? Why do you need Kickstarter?
Well, almost finished... Some of the music we used in the film turned out to be too costly for our small budget, so we negotiated limited, short-term licenses that gave us permission to screen the film for just two years, and only at film festivals.
We've received lots of emails asking if Sunday Punch is available for purchase or streaming, but because we strongly support the intellectual property rights of our fellow artists/musicians/filmmakers, we've been unable to share the film.
And even those limited licenses are set to expire at the end of the year, meaning Sunday Punch will be unable to screen ANYWHERE.
That's why we decided now is the perfect time to "finish" the film and share it for the first time outside of a festival setting, for whoever wants to see it -- meaning you!
What do I get out of this?
We've got lots of great Sunday Punch goodies available, including copies of the movie! For full descriptions, check out our list of rewards to the right, or take a look at these pictures below:

When do we get our stuff?!
Kickstarter is an all or nothing campaign, meaning that if we don't reach our goal, your credit card will not be charged, and you won't receive your rewards (so spread the word to make sure you get your stuff!)
Upon the successful completion of our campaign, all MP3s will be emailed immediately.
All physical rewards (DVDs, posters, etc.) will be mailed over the following two weeks and should arrive around the beginning of February.
Domestic Shipping & Handling is included with your pledge (but please add at least $5 to your pledge if you live outside the United States!)
What will the money be used for?
The $4500 we raise will be used to fund the music of Sunday Punch (minus the 5% Kickstarter fee and the cost of shipping your rewards to you!)
Should we exceed our $4500 pledge goal, every extra dollar will go directly toward the current development of our first feature film Too Late, which will feature Dichen Lachman reprising her role as Jill from Sunday Punch.
Thanks for your support, and we hope you enjoy the movie!
