The time has come for this 4-piece Christian Rock Band from Northern VA to record & release a new album - you've waited too long!
First, THANKS for visiting our kickstarter page! Second, we truly appreciate your support now more than ever. As the “FM Williams Band”, the inspiration, desire, and energy to create and release this EP has been around for nearly a year. Since FM’s departure from a mainstream label, deciding to remain independent, and adding the inclusive word “Band” to the name, we’ve simply lacked the resources to record and release a quality album. By remaining independent, it gives us the freedom to produce the music we’ve always wanted to release, but it also means we need to use and raise our own financing. Our hope is to release an album in the Fall or late Summer of 2012, approximately two years after FM’s solo debut album.
Our goal is to raise $3,500 in 45 Days. Your pledges will be used to help us pay for recording, mixing, mastering, digital distribution and production of professional audio CDs.
We’d like to thank you all for the ongoing support, kindness, and love that you’ve given us over the past years. Truly, it is our belief that we’re only getting started and the best is yet to come. It has been a joy getting to know so many of you and we’re humbled each time we see or hear anyone talking about our music. It is our hope that these songs of love, hope, and joy encourage every listener and that the spotlight never shines on anyone other than our Savior Jesus Christ – without Him in the center of our lives leading us… all of this is meaningless.
We will keep you posted every step of the way.

1) You are not charged for your pledge. 2) We do not receive anything. 3) The EP will not be released.
That's a great question, thanks for asking :) Ok, it's true that we get all funds raised that are equal to, or greater than the $3500 goal. So if you help us raise... $5000 during this 45 days, then we will receive $5000 (minus 5% for Kickstarter and 5% for Amazon) to support us in the making of this album.
How would we use the additional funds? Well, $3500 is the exact amount needed to do this project without any buffer built-in. Meaning is would fund an exact amount of hours/days (little room for error and no room for needing more time). It also corners us into using a specific distribution and CD production vendor. Plus the multiple miscellaneous costs come from our pocket.
Therefore, if we manage to exceed the goal then it gives us a lot more freedom - use a better vendor, the ability to buy more studio time if needed, and grant us the ability to fund the miscellaneous costs of gear/equipment needed as we enter the studio.
If the goal is exceeded by a lot, i.e. $10,000 - we will likely use a portion of that to fund and schedule a short tour (like we did in April/May of 2011) through Ohio, since we seem to have such a large support base there.
