My friend and I both loved fashion and art, but didn't know how to apply it to our life in a successful way.
This January, we decided to start Flux Magazine. It was to be a platform for artists of youthful, cross-cultural, varying backgrounds to share their work in a mature, professional medium. We showcase digital/traditional modern art, and photography of different sorts, as well as articles, poetry and interviews. We released the first issue only last week and it's already showing immense success. People are already reaching out to us to get involved- such as a photographer in London, an artist in Belgium, a rising musician in Minneapolis, etc. The magazine was planned to be online but many people are asking for printed copies..
This is where you guys come in. We need your help to raise money to get printed copies of Flux to sell, in order to make more money and continue on with our magazine. Both Shanti and I, the creators of Flux, feel so passionate towards art and fashion and Flux is our way of getting our voices out. We are doing anything we can to raise this money and create a community of artists.
The $900 covers hard printing costs for the first run and the additional money will go towards working capital and future expenditures.
Risks and challenges
We know there will be challenges along the way, as there already is with funding, but we plan to overcome these challenges. We are both passionate in art and fashion and will not stop if there's one little block in the road. Flux is our passion and we do not intend to ever stop.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
