All-or-nothing crowd-sourcing fundraising platform is so very hard to do, but I am a fan of your work Floyd and a believer that anything is possible. I am happy to support such an extraordinary project. Your vision will take you a long way. Keep pushing and sharing.
My kickstarter project was funded with only a few moments to go. My partner Matthew Shipp knew we would make it when I had given up hope. Now we have finished filming The Composer and are looking for places to show our art and jazz fusion film. I am sure in six months time your documentary will be done and I will be the first person in line to see it, my friend!
My commitment right now is to complete this documentary. But it is an interesting question. As we hustle to finish the documentary, exploration is being done development work for a the feature. We have been talking to a writer I have done some work with before. His name is Peter Allen and he was a writer on a film titled, "The Takers" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1135084/). The story could be a great dramatic film most definitely.
This is looking good. (I watched the trailer 2x's) I know you've been working on this project a long time. Thanks for sticking with it long after traditional funding sources gave it the cold shoulder. Can't wait to see it! Who's writing the script for the dramatic feature -- is that in the works too?
