We set out to make a pasta sauce that's not available, at all in the market, right now: We've come up with three amazing recipes:
- Roasted Garlic Alfredo
- Pesto Cream
- Lemony Artichoke with Chives
These sauces have the depth and richness of traditional cream sauces, only we've made them without the cheese, fat and processed ingredients. These sauces are 100% vegan, gluten-free, and organic.
Versatile beyond pasta they can be used to make dips and over your personal favorite vegetables, grains and proteins. We hope they inspire you to get creative in the kitchen and experiment with great-tasting-good-for-you foods, yourself, at home.
We've done all the back end work and planning. Now we need to raise $5000 to reach the LA farmer's market circuit and independent grocery stores. This money will go to equipment, commercial kitchen rental, raw ingredients, packaging, labeling and fees.
Risks and challenges
Our biggest business risk during this phase is the potential for early spoilage due to unsuitable handling of the product or compromised ingredients. To mitigate this risk, we will produce batches just shortly before sale and provide accurate handing instructions for consumers, as well as source reliable ingredients.
Other risks include the potential for liability if the products do not meet health standards or cause health issues. Another risk is the loss of revenue if products do not sell as anticipated.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
