2019 Unicalendar: Your Favorite Emoji Calendar
$7,052

Emojis go everywhere. Your photos. Your texts. Your stories.
And now your calendar. 😍
Your favorite emoji calendar is back for another trip around the sun! ☀️

Unicalendar is the perfect gift for the folks on your group text, the boss you're trying to impress, or your cousin in middle-school with 3000 Instagram followers.
- 😘 Give one to your lover.
- 🐶 Give one to your dog.
- 🎨 Give one to your kid. (Maybe you have a real kid, maybe it’s the metaphorical emoji-loving kid living inside you — it's not my place to say.)
Unicalendar measures 12-inches wide by 24-inches tall and is printed by the insanely talented artists at Studio On Fire. The Unicalendar is pressed like an art-print on some extremely bougie 100 lb paper. It's the highest-brow emoji calendar you'll come across (certainly until Gucci gets in the game).

Calendars are great, but what if you enjoy celebrating alternative holidays that the designer (me, in this case) forgot to include — say your anniversary, your kid’s bar mitzvah, or the annual road trip with your crew? That’s why Unicalendar includes EMOJI STICKERS!

- ✈️ Got a business trip? STICKER!
- 🏀 Rec League championship game? STICKER!
- 🏕 Designer glamping summit with industry thought leaders? STICKER!
And just like the calendar, these stickers are dope as H-E-double-hockeysticks if you know what I’m sayin'. 120 foil-on-foil emoji stickers come in the box. BOOM. 🎤 ⬇️

Frames make your calendar look swizzeet, but it’s hard to add new stickers when important dates are locked up behind glass. 2019 welcomes a solution: THE MAGNET FRAME!
That’s right, emoji baes. For 2019, should your burning heart desire, your Unicalendar can be delivered with a solid wood, magnetic “frame” so you can hang your gloriously emoji-laden calendar to the most important wall in your home. It’s painted matte black and cut precisely to snuggle your calendar with love. OOOH SNAP.

Of course you can also hang your calendar with clips, washi tape, or colorful thumbtacks 🙈 — but trust your boy: You want the magnet frame kit. It’s a reasonable add-on you can reuse in 2020. You’re gonna support the 2020 edition next year, right?

This is the second edition of the Unicalendar to be published with the help of Kickstarter. Here are a few of the sweet, sweet improvements we made for 2019:
- Upgraded packaging (for easier gift giving)
- Redesigned holiday legend (for better scanning and notes)
- 40% lower cost (makes your decision easier, right?)
- New colors that SLAY (purple, blue, and teal are so 🔥🔥🔥)

Shout out to everyone who backed the 2018 edition! Your support helped make 2019 even better — and if all goes well this time round the sun, we'll make 2020 ridiculously awesome.

My name is Josh Williams, and the Unicalendar is the result of my fascination with emoji and my love for printed media. I'm a graphic designer living in Napa Valley, and I've been creating icons for over 20 years. At 16 I was almost fired for swapping the Mac trashcan icon on my employer's computer. My three children obviously inspire a lot of this craziness.
The Unicalendar and emoji stickers are printed by Studio On Fire in St. Paul, Minnesota. They're simply badasses, and no one can letterpress a gradient like they can.

How many holiday emojis are printed on the Unicalendar? There are 60 pre-printed emojis on the 2019 Unicalendar. (5 per month. 12 months in 2019. Per the usual.)
How will I know which emoij goes with what holiday? Some are pretty easy to figure out, like ☘️ for St. Patrick's Day or 🥐 for Croissant Day (yooooo, croissants!). But for the unique ones like 🎏 (Golden Week in Japan) there's a handy legend at the bottom.
Like, is this a product for adults or kids or families or avocado-toast eating millennials? Yes. 👩🏽🎤👨👨👧👦👨🏼🏫👩🏽💻👨👩👧👧👩🏼🍳👩👩👦👨🏾🌾
How big are the emoji stickers? The stickers are 3 picas wide, big enough to cover a date dot on the calendar. Remember, you're getting 120 of them. They're awesome.
Hold up. How big is a pica? 1/6th of an inch. 📏
Wait, so you're saying the stickers are a half-inch wide? Yep. I guess so. [nods]
Can you tell me the Pantone ink colors so I can paint my wall to match? Sure. The purple is PMS 2735, the blue is PMS 2995, and the teal is PMS 3262. I firmly believe 4-digit Pantone colors are the best. 🎨
Why Kickstarter? While this is the third annual edition of the Unicalendar, using Kickstarter allows the campaign to reach a broad audience and enables me to understand supply and demand for a timely product. Plus it's just a great community doing creative stuff.
I noticed the price is lower this year. Has the quality gone down? 💁♀️ No way, homie. In fact, this is the best Unicalendar ever. Fancy economies of scale have reduced my costs, and I'm passing that along to you in hopes that I'll sell a bajillion of these. So please tell your friends.
Are the prints signed & numbered this year? The Unicalendar prints are still signature stamped, but because 2019 is an open edition, they are no longer individually numbered. My handwriting isn't worth jack anyhow.
Will my Unicalendar arrive in time for the holidays? 🎄🕎 As of this posting we anticipate shipping the calendars at the end of November or first week of December. They should arrive in time to be given as gifts — and will certainly be ready for the new year. 🥂

Risks and challenges
2019 marks the second letterpress edition of the Unicalendar. The print and stickers have already entered production and will be prepared to ship soon. We are awaiting production and delivery of the new packaging and magnet frame kits. The frame kits should be complete in mid-October, and our packaging manufacturer estimates a mid-November arrival. While slippage is not anticipated, a packaging delay could push delivery into December.
