This TED talk on seed saving is worth watching
What excites me is the fact that seeds can go from being saved in cold storage to growing and being lunch again. If we succeed with 32 varieties why can't that grow to 32,000 and more.
Cary Fowler is a good presenter if you have not seen this talk it is worth a few minutes and it may inspire others to give to our efforts. http://www.ted.com/talks/cary_fowler_one_seed_at_a_time_protecting_the_future_of_food.html
We are now only $1,400 away from hitting our goal. Save our seeds by planting and growing unique and diverse varieties and then saving and sharing the seeds. We can help. SOS!
