Who am I?
My name is Alexandra, I grew up in Ukraine (Eastern Europe), where I learnt to love life and nature. Since I was 10 y.o. girl, I wanted my life to be in flowers, coffee and food ^^. I started to work with flowers in floral studio when I was 14, I got interested in design, started to learn English, went to college to study landscape design, started to work as a designer, traveled all over Europe for the inspiration and delicious coffee and pastries, came to the U.S., took another floral design classes, worked in the restaurants to meet new people, to feel what the restaurant business and customer service are. And now I have a strong desire to make my dream a reality.
What will FIORI ART CAFE be like?
Imagine blooming modern cozy place with real lavender latte, homemade french macaroons, fruit mousse cakes, chocolate eclairs...
Place where you can get your kids treat you actually feel good about giving them, your trendy friends an early evening charcuterie plate with house jams and wine they actually approve of...
The place where you can grab healthy breakfast, dinner, delicious sweets and coffee, free of tons of artificial syrups...
The place where you can visit free weekend art workshops enjoying a cup of flower tea, a glass of wine or prosecco...
Turning the dream into a reality
After almost a year of visualizing, searching, planning, talking to the owners of the restaurants I had to say I can't make it for real without help. I don't have partnerships with large investors. But I've already found my perfect space for the future FIORI art cafe, found the talent chef that is passionate about baking and totally shared the views of our cafe.
I ask you to help to reach my dream.
Risks and challenges
Having worked in restaurants, been a part of the opening new restaurant business, talking with owners I'm well aware of the risks and problems that can arise. The renovation process is expensive and time-consuming, permits are delayed, but I'm sure we can handle that.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
