 Hello Kickstarter Backers!

Ain’t no party like a National Skip the Straw Day Party. The sea turtles are twerking and the narwhals are flossing. That’s right, we are getting doooown.

We’re teaming up with Surfrider Foundation, 5 Gyres, Plastic Pollution Coalition, and Last Plastic Straw to raise awareness about the impacts of single-use plastics.

We are so appreciative of your support and patience as we close out our fulfillment process. Though it was not always smooth sailing, we have grown a lot as a company and are very excited for the future of Final. For those of you who experienced delays in shipping, we are very sorry about this issue. Murphy's law was in full effect and we messed up a lot. And then a lot more. But, from that experience we have grown dramatically—we now have a 6 person customer service team (shoutout to Alejandra, Madison, Jenna, Kari, Kendalyn, and Jennifer) and a new VP of Operations Kathleen!!! We are back to moving and shaking and are so excited to continue our line of Foreverables! Stay tuned for FinalFork and FinalStrawX (smoothie/boba straw)...

      I still do not have my straws!! I'm domestic and have not moved. What gives?

      So my straw got returned to the US after sitting in a sorting office. I have not message as to why.

      Please send another and make sure it doesn't happen again.

      Looking forward to hearing about Final Straw X!!! I was at a boba store and devastated that my final straw wouldn't be able to use for boba drinks!

      Seems to me that you need to focus more on your backers than occasions and answer your backers since without them, your project would never have started....

      It's been nearly a year and I still have not received my straw.
      I was going to order more as Holiday gifts (once I received the one I paid for) but alas, that never happened. I then planned to order a bunch for Valentines day, but still - no straw. I keep sending emails and replying via comments, but still - no straw. I understand that start-ups can be tricky but this is looking, sounding and feeling more like the Fyre festival with each passing day. Please, either send the straw that I purchased or refund my money? Thanks.

      I think I'll just wait and buy them on Amazon cheaper and receive them quicker than if I back your dumpster fire of a company.
      Thanks for proving to potential backers that waiting and getting them cheaper, quicker and with support from Amazon is an option by the way.
      Or maybe one of the inevitable copies at a fraction of the price.
      And of course, none of the nasty attitude you provided in the comments here.

      Dealing with your company was one of the worst experiences if not the worst experience I’ve ever had when trying to order something.
