Quiet Means Busy

Posted by FILM Ferrania (Creator)

Ciao a Tutti!

In the past few weeks, we have received hundreds of emails and messages asking a variety of questions with the general subject "Where is my film?!?"

Because we are so few people, and you are so many - we have tried to clear the air by answering these concerns all in one place:

Please read: "Quiet Means Busy"

We have written volumes of information over the years, and yet nearly every day, we receive an email from a Backer who is "checking in" after a long time being "checked out." This is perfectly understandable, of course. We only ask all Backers who are checking back in to please take a look at our archive of Kickstarter updates, or scan the news on our website to bring yourself up to speed.

I invoke my rights under Kickstarter's Terms of Use:
"Project Creators are required to fulfill all rewards of their successful fundraising campaigns or refund any Backer whose reward they do not or cannot fulfill."
I demand an immediate full refund for my pledge amount.

Still waiting; I don't check kickstarter often, so I have missed the P30 e-mails, etc. But might still like to get an order in. Any way to do a second offer to those 2k backers who missed it, once you run down your backlog?

Thank you for this update. You obviously have a very important project so it's nice to hear that you are working so well.

Also, the unintentional delay could be very fortunate for the future of Ferrania because of the increasing popularity of film photography.

I look forward to hearing about the your revised timetable too.

If updates on Kickstarter, Twitter or the website were more frequent less people would contact you directly. Be glad that we are "so many" cause we buy the product (if we can get it sometime in 2018, and I'm talking P30).
Anyway I remain positive that not only some Super VIPs get some rolls of P30 but also we normal people.
But keep in mind it's not long until ferragosto when Italy will see a standstill or at least a slowdown.
Anyway, your efforts are very much appreciated and I'm looking forward to a positive outcome, amici. Ciao et saluti!

Hello, good evening, and thanks so much for the update.
      Waiting happily, no problem.
Was ready preparing to send an email, but fortunately this update came OnTime.
Hopefully, did not communicate with Ferrania since transferring database from Kickstarter, before opening P30 film shop. Since then, I reviewed Ferrania website so many times.
I think it's better to state it clear with any coming update: "Backers who did not ask for reward exchange, please wait. Will notify you on your email", or anything concerning specifically and clearly backers who did not ask for reward exchange.
I understand how important is P30 film to the current time and future of Ferrania.
Being a manufacturer of B&W film, is extremely regarded and highly appreciated.
Started to dream of 4X5 Ferrania film.
      Please keep the marvelous job.
Your work is solely related to a mankind culture and tradition, the Photographic "FILM".
Thanks so much for the extraordinary step in the film future.
      Best Regards.
      H. Obied/ IbnAlhytham.
