A personal story

Ciao a tutti!

In the 112 weeks since our campaign ended, a lot has happened with FILM Ferrania, and we also faced a long series of delays. We appreciate that most of you have taken the time to read our updates, even though they're often long and detailed, and not the news you really want to hear.

On Christmas Eve, our communications director, Dave Bias, posted his personal story of visiting the foggy valley in Northern Italy where FILM Ferrania is taking shape.

If there is one update we urge you to read, this is the one.

It's for all of you who have remained patient, passionate and enthusiastic about our project - but perhaps it's even more relevant for those who have given up on us in one way or another.

As we move into 2017, we want to wish you the very best - and a heartfelt grazie mille!

Cheers,
The FILM Ferrania Team

Offering B&W as a product, the sale of which might generate some more funds, appeals to me, so long as it wouldn't distract from the overall project. I would buy some, especially 4x5.

That's a beautiful and inspiring article written by Mr. Bias. Sometimes it does take a fresh pair of eyes to see the miracles we are all a part of every day.

Hi my friends, I wish you too all the best for 2017 and looking forward to put a Ferrania film in my M3 ;-)

When I backed FILM Ferrania, I saw it as an investment into the future. And it looks as if it was exactly that. So I can wait (even though I would like to get some film into my hands)!

As suggested in the comments below the article – you should start to produce (and sell) this B&W film you made only for testing. After you managed to produce the originally planned slide film. Or ask your backers if they prefer (of like) to get half of their perks as B&W … (I would ;))
