About this project
This game is for 2-4 average gamers, plays around 15-25 minutes per player and it is considered suitable for ages 11 and up. Be advised that using rocket fuel is forbidden for minors. We strongly suggest to keep your space suit on at all times!
All Pictures shown are for illustration purposes only. Final products may vary from the original concept. In a positive way of course...
Warp Speed is a Sci-Fi, anime themed space exploration game, for 2-4 players, where you navigate and warp yourself through space in order to answer distress signals, hunt wanted criminals, trade resources and recruit new crew. The movement of the ship is done by using boost green crystals, but as the game evolves you will be able to upgrade your ship and use warp speed to travel a lot faster, or teleport your crew to get extra benefits!
Each player takes the role of a starship captain that is sent into an unknown galaxy, to sweep its sectors from asteroids, discover new planets and by completing objectives, earn fame points and win. Fame can be earned by completing 2 objectives of the same color.
After you get those objectives, you must travel to a corresponding planet and get your reward from the remnants of that planet.
Cards are used to reveal events such as encounters with other pilots, finding new planets etc. While on your mission you will definitely have to trade as you reach a new planet, otherwise you will be in a tough spot!

They were edited by Gaming Rules! to ensure a robust, comprehensive, easy to read and professional structure. Rule books are considered to be the heart of every game, so we treat them very seriously :)
Please send an email to email@example.com with any corrections you might want to suggest. These rules are not final as we are improving them until the production time comes.
After you have finished browsing through the rules and previews, please take a good look at the 3 editions we have to offer! It is for you to decide if you want the whole shebang, or lay low and play it nice and simple...There is also a pledge for all dice collectors, that do not want the actual game!
The above list will be updated regularly as more Stretch Goals get unlocked. We have prepared some great features based on the feedback we have gathered thus far, so please scroll down, enjoy, and tell us what you think in the comments section!
Here's where things get complicated and YOU are the only one who could help us. Stretch Goals! They are really fun to design and play-test, it would be even better if they didn't cost that much. But everything has its price... Now if you need any explaining or extra info please do ask in the comments section. Any ideas for future Stretch Goals are also welcome!
Any rewards that add new mechanics and/or variety to the basic gameplay, will be thoroughly playtested and approved, before Warp Speed goes into the final production phase.
First thing we needed to do was to make proper Prototypes in order to run blind playtesting sessions and also to send out pre-view copies to the reviewers. This was made possible by some amazing individuals:
3DHUB.gr did an excellent work providing plexiglass skills to develop all the tiles of the game. And then some. Also through their 3d printing experience we managed to produce some cool looking prototypes of the ships that will be included in the Premium and Deluxe editions of the game.
Next stop LittleCLUUs, a custom dice workshop run by a cheerful and trustworthy individual, Christina Whitton. Her amazing skills on doing custom dice paid off as you can see in the picture below. Thank you Christina!
The last person in this neverending chain of events is Eleftheria Tsourlidaki. As a handcrafting enthusiast, she made a couple of game boxes for us, so we could show them with pride. Eleftheria is actually the only one who could be permitted to board a starship, as she is a certified Astrophysicist!
Now that we have your attention, it is time to move on and embrace the next step of the production process. The mass production. Where more magic takes place!
Warp Speed will be mass produced by Panda Game Manufacturing. We have been working with many other companies in the past, but their approach and credibility is far more superior. It is important for us both, that this game has the best components available, so it was clear who should we contact for that matter.
Panda Game Manufacturing was founded in early 2007 to provide tabletop game publishers with high quality overseas manufacturing services. They are a western managed company with production facilities based in Shenzhen, China.
Shipping costs are always a BIG problem. For everyone. The publisher, the manufacturer and last but not least, YOU fellow backers. Not to worry though we've got you covered! As members of the Kickstarter community we know and understand your needs. This is why we have tried to find the best prices, as well as Worldwide friendly solutions!
Warp Speed will be shipped throughout the world, using different carriers to provide a better customer service, fast delivery and above all, damage control. The US distribution will be carried out by Fulfillrite, located in Lakewood, NJ. For AUSTRALIA we have contacted our Aussie partners, Aetherworks and they were more than happy to help out! CANADA packages will be delivered to your door by the Canadian Snakes & Lattes, having experience in the field makes them one of the top choices in the market. Happyshops, our longtime friends from Germany will be responsible for all your packages in the EU district. CHINA and HONG KONG on the other hand, will be covered by VFI Asia located in Fujian, China. We did however think about all other countries that did not fit in the list due to outrageous shipping costs. All REST OF THE WORLD deliveries will be conducted by any of the aforementioned fulfillment hubs, depending on the recipient's location.
Please check the chart below to learn more about your shipping fees according to the Pledge Level you have chosen.
Game stores and their owners, are definitely the backbone of the game industry. This is why we are open to any proposition you might have for us! If you are interested enough to introduce Warp Speed to your customers, we would be glad to help out in any way we can. Send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org so we could discuss all the possibilities for bulk shipping and discounts.

Risks and challenges
The publication of a tabletop game is an invigorating but at the same time, highly stressful process. It can be prone to many mistakes and delays, even for an experienced publisher.
JAM Games is a new company in the scene and hopefully you will play a significant role in our success story! Our goal is to make this thing work through your support and be as transparent as possible of the entire process.
Supplier shortage, holiday traffic, weather conditions and laser fights are just a few of the reasons a production could be significantly delayed. Even though we do our best to ensure a quality product and a fast production, there is always the risk that some things can go wrong. JAM Games should not be held responsible for delays caused by third parties or any natural disasters.
If you decide you don't like the game within the first month of receiving it, you can return it for a full refund, no questions asked.
