Your commanding officer has just been killed and someone, or more accurately, something is to blame. Can you survive The Terror?
Use this space to cheer the creator along, and talk to your fellow backers.
Have a question?
Glad to hear there's a plan to move forward.
If FG or any of its individual members are going to be at GenCon, maybe some demos could get this Terror out in the open?
83 unique pieces of artwork might be pretty expensive, yeah. is it possible to reduce that number at all? that would certainly help lower your funding goal, and you could do stretch goals for more unique art pieces.
I've actually made a couple of games with very low funding goals so feel free to PM me if you want to pick my brain.
We've been updating our quotes for manufacturing and have some plans for getting this done. First thing though, we need to put together some rewards for a basic version of the game so we can set a more normal goal. We'll work our way up from there and see how much of the art we can have done.
I don't know, I'd imagine individual art pieces for, what, 83 different cards, not to mention box and rulebook art (if different) could be pretty costly.
But definitely out of my wheelhouse.
Still hoping this gets made at some point.
this game looks pretty cool but it looks like a longshot to fund. I wonder, why such a high funding goal? the components seem pretty simple. I bet you could find lower quotes and relaunch for a fraction of your current goal. it would be a shame if this great-looking game doesn't end up getting made.
Glad to hear it is being received well when encountered.
Some folks ran a bunch of games of this in the Deception room this year at Origins. There was generally positive reaction with just using the print and play decks.
If I want two copies, should I just pledge $60? I shared this to a group from the Deception Room at Origins - they loved Secret Hitler this year, and they have a ton of Facebook friends, so I'm holding out hope it'll fund at the last minute ^_^
"too" = "to"
[I so want an edit button.]
Is there a play-through video on YouTube we can direct folks too?
It seems these days some folks need the "seeing is believing" method. Seeing a group's enjoyment as they play the game could really help sell.
I've shared the game and campaign with the great community at beastsofwar.com.
I'm not a social media guy, so I won't be any help there.
Why is this not getting the backing the game deserves? I saw how much fun players were having at Origins.
Looks interesting and fun! Good luck with the campaign.
I want to see this work, this looks like a very interesting and fun take on the formula that was put forth by Secret Hitler. Spread the word and see if we can get those numbers up!
It looks like we need 1500 souls to crew Starbase X to initial victory (or humanity's ruin).
Time to start spreading the word!
The best of luck defeating the KS Funding terror!
First! Good luck gang!
