"Robots!" -- A stop motion animation using LEGO bricks

“Robots!” is a stop motion animation made using LEGO bricks. It follows a fictional news team as they report on an invasion of tiny robots, the abolition of sports, and a war between the colors Green and Orange. Interspersed between the main news stories are commercials marketed to robots. As I finish animating each segment I release them online, in fact, two are completed and you can watch them right now. What better way to understand what you're funding? The Pinchbot Invasion

Orange vs. Binary
“Robots!” is the second chapter in my ongoing webseries, The Nightly News at Nine. I was able to finance the first chapter myself, but in the process of doing so I used all my savings and pushed my credit cards to their limits. This wouldn’t be such a big problem if my animating camera hadn’t gotten stolen back in October. I bought a cheap replacement camera, which has been working well considering the price, but it’s far from ideal.

The main reason I am trying to raise these funds is to buy a new high-end camera so I can make this animation as big and beautiful as possible. The money would also go toward purchasing animation software to use with the camera, burning the DVDs of finished product and producing the other rewards listed here.
