How to Make Comics With Springworth is a 24-page A4 all-ages magazine that encourages artistic collaboration from its reader! This magazine is to be featured in comic making kits for our partnered charity Little Heroes Comics.
This campaign aims to raise the funds necessary to cover the printing and production costs to bring this comic making adventure to life and into 1000 kits for kids.
How To Make Comics With Springworth is written by Tony Esmond and drawn by Andy Hanks.

What is How To Make Comics With Springworth?
How To Make Comics With Springworth is a magazine designed to fire up the imagination of its readers and encourage budding artists to put pen, pencil or crayon to paper and create!
You will be tasked with helping Springworth, robot butler to the world's superhero elite, and learning how to make comics along the way. You'll be drawing super hero costumes, robots and even a gigantic monster!
The First 4 Pages

Extra Activity Pages
The back of the magazine will be jam-packed with awesome extra activities for you to have fun with. Below is the first activity page in the book. Can you show us what General Punchy's origin story is?

What is Little Heroes Comics Charity and how are we teaming up?

Little Heroes Comics is a UK-based charity, also founded by Fair Spark Books' founder Aaron Rackley, that creates and sends comic making kits to children in hospitals and other healthcare organisations throughout the UK.
We are teaming up to provide this magazine in all of the kits that they send outgoing forwards!
Stretch Goals
Thanks to you amazing bunch, we have had to add the stretch goals below.

Our first stretch goal is for the £1000 mark, at this stage we will be able to add an additional 4 pages to the magazine. These pages give you the template to use the skills you have acquired in the magazine to make your own comic.

Our second stretch goal will enable us to send each of our physical backers a 24pg artist sketchbook from our own magazine artist, Andy Hank.

For our third stretch goal, we have teamed up with comic creator Nick Prolix. Nick is a Little Heroes veteran, having provided a 4-page short story in our first anthology. The A4 poster we will be giving to every physical backer features the amazing characters from that story.

Risks and challenges
We already have 12 of the 24 pages finished and Andy is working hard to get us to the finish line for a Feb release.
Sometimes unforeseen circumstances mean this could take longer, and we will keep you informed if there is any kind of delay!
