We want to ignite curiosity in the next generation of scientists. We hope backers who recognize the importance of Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) will lend a hand and help us improve on this great tool that transforms the learning experience. One key step is getting the Focus Camera out into classrooms and getting valuable first hand feedback from students and teachers. Our backers can help make that happen. We will give 40 cameras to schools and collaborate with them to improve our offering.
Children in the US are falling behind in STEM education. We believe the right technology tools can help. The Focus Camera sits at the intersection of STEM and iPad adoption by offering a great solution for teachers looking for new and exciting ways to engage and inspire students. It breathes new life into existing compound and stereo microscopes, and can dramatically improve the learning experience.
Now students can share and collaborate and use these powerful features to explore the unseen world. Teachers are better able to convey information and confirm students aren't confusing an air bubble with a cell nucleus or an eyelash for a nematode.

Can I receive more than one camera?
Risks and challenges
With final licensing approval from Apple and cameras being sold through our website, we are ready to rock. The first version of our app is up and running. We have a phenomenal team and a solid plan in place to get the Focus Camera in the hands of teachers and students.
Placing cameras, monitoring, and receiving feedback from the schools in the pilot program will take time, effort, and resources, but we already have several organizations on board to provide useful feedback. The biggest risk right now is that even if schools get into the pilot program, they may not ever actually help us improve the camera or give any feedback. We will avoid that through stellar support service and developing strong relationships with the participating organizations.
