Half a million! What! I mean! Whaaaat!
We've hit half a million bucks! That's nuts! And you know what that means...
Actually... do you know what it means? Because we don't. We had no notion that we'd hit that mark. It's, ummm. It's big. That is a thing that it is.
It does seem like it's time to flick on the party lights and celebrate. You've busted every goal, and then some; we're already at four audio tracks from Plate Mail Games and well on our way to the fifth.
So let's celebrate! What are you most excited about? What are you looking forward to? Have you played yet, and if so, what did you think? Let us know in the comments so we can do a little dance with you about all that.
This also feels like a good time to roll out some of the comedic "secret rewards" we've had planned for y'all.
First up, we're going to add another card to the freebies pack. This will be a new Foe card for use in the Side Jobs deck — the Evil Hat. When you defeat it, Harry gets to draw a card. Because Harry don't do no hats, that's why.
Second, we're going to include a bonus audio track for you, straight from Dr. Eric "Foo Dog Funk" Vogel, your game designer. Because enough of you... okay, at least one of you... demanded a funk album, and well, this is as good as that gets from us. Have a listen to the Foo Dog Funk now! (Assuming the Kickstarter audio-playin' widget below works for you.)
(We are so sorry. So, so very sorry. But we couldn't stop laughing.)
Seriously though, we're just beside ourselves with how great this campaign has been, and how great you all have been through it all. As we head on towards the final 24 hours of the campaign (but the first 24 hours of a much longer road of getting this game into your hands) we're thrilled to have you all as part of our team for making more tabletop Dresden Files gaming a reality.
Thank you, again, and always!
And please, enjoy your foo dog funk responsibly.
