Project Update & Full Rules Preview
We're almost to the first milestone, Racers!
Thanks to a big push this past week, we've broken the 90% funding mark and we still have one week to go. Our trending on Kicktraq shows that we're on target to fund our first goal, but our stretch goals are in jeopardy.
If you're hoping to take your game to the Hollow Earth, or even on some Strange Adventures, we will need an extra boost to make it all happen. Your support is crucial in this final week, as you get the word out to your friends and participate in conversation around the internet and in local game stores. We can do it!
To help you strive for that mark, we're showing you a few new things this week.
First off, you can now grab PDFs of the current drafts of our two rules booklets -- the rule book itself and the location guide -- from the Race to Adventure website. While our tutorial video is enough to get anyone started, these PDFs cover the whole territory of the game, and clear up any questions you might have about individual locations or items.
But we also want to look ahead, with crossed fingers, to our $60,000 goal -- the Strange Adventures PDF. If funded, we'll include rules variants to support solitaire, cooperative, and possibly even six-player play. Our designers are noodling out the possibilities as we speak.
Strange Adventures will also include at least a dozen alternative board layouts to expand the possibilities of your game. Below is a taste of a few we've drafted so far.
Let's get racing!

Can you explain what you mean by "a twitterable"? Like, something from the @racetoadventure account that you can retweet?

Do you have a twitterable as prepared to spread the word? I guess you can do that better than me. And I'd really like to get my hands on that neat Hollow Earth expansion.
Cheers and good luck (to all of us)!
