@muel, we have mechanics to mitigate the dice. We won't just let luck win the day. This is just an early stage PNP. But yes, it's good to note.
Posted this in the comment section but I will put it here too.
Just watched the game play video. It seems like pretty much all combat is luck based because of the dice. Could there be a way to mitigate that? Possibly spend a resource to up your roll by 1. That way you need to make the decision if it's worth spending your resources on getting the kill or adding new troops? Just an idea as some people don't like pure luck.
Or maybe using your current mechanic of discarding a card face down you could do that to gain 'ammo' which can be spent and used to the same effect as mentioned before?
@scott. lol It's all good! It's late.
Oh yeah I second dogs! Also Terminator sleeves for sure! I'm gonna sleeve my cards anyway, might as well get some custom ones!
Other add ons: I'd love a battle damaged Arnie T-800! So after a few hits, you switch the mini to his damaged mini! Maybe Lance Henriksen's character as an extra mini? Or maybe have Dr. Silberman as a mini, chasing Sarah and Kyle around to try and have them committed lol
Drat. I posted before I saw the reply Please disregard.
What function would the additional endoskeleton figures have in the game? Does the game not include figures for all the Terminators that can be in play?
Multiple models are for collectors. Especially the metal ones. plus they can be used in other games.
A dog or two as equipment/backup could be a nice addition. Like, they'll start barking and alert the resistance fighter they are stationed with that a Terminator is approaching, meaning they're more prepared and get a +1 to their die or something. Plus, dogs!
What would I need the extra standard endoskeleton's for?
