You can also purchase optional buys during the Backerkit survey, but those funds won't go towards stretch goals!
The Cyberdyne coin will be made of plastic and included in all Termination boxes!
The Terminator™: The Official Board Game is an asymmetrical strategy game for 2-5 players played across two boards: one in 1984 and one in 2029. One player takes control of all of Skynet’s forces: Hunter Killer machines, Terminator cyborgs, and more. The rest of the players take the role of the human resistance, struggling against the impossible odds of the machine uprising. Each of the two game boards play differently: 2029 focuses on light troop and resource management in a lopsided battle for dominance. 1984 focuses on personal missions with high stakes and intense pacing. Missions arise through the course of gameplay, and have players make decisions in 1984 that will affect the future, erasing and adding components in real time.

The Terminator: The Official Board Game has been featured at the following outlets!
We understand the struggle retailers have when it comes to Kickstarter campaigns, as there’s a lot of Kickstarter exclusive goodies that retailers don’t get access to through their normal retailer channels. That’s why Space Goat has made every Kickstarter product available to retailers while the campaign is running! If there’s something we offer on the Kickstarter, you’ll be able to buy it for your shop.
We are also soliciting the game with a number of distributors while the campaign is running, in case you want to get less than 6.

About Taylor Smith
Taylor Smith designed Evil Dead 2: The Official Board Game and rumors have it that the Dark Ones have been inhabiting his mortal vessel ever since. Editor, Creative Director, and official Captain (he has the hat to prove it) at Space Goat Productions, Taylor worked behind the scenes on major projects in the worlds of Elder Scrolls, Halo, Guild Wars, StarCraft, and more. He's also made a couple RPGs and released them independently under the moniker of Whimsy Machine Games—they're pretty neat.
We literally could not make a game of this scale without Kickstarter. We want to make a game that hardcore board game fans and Terminator fans will love with the coolest miniatures possible, but we can’t do that without funding assistance from Kickstarter. We’ve done all we can on our own, but after this point we need backers’ help.
The Kickstarter community is amazing and we love them! With their feedback, support, and advice, we made Evil Dead 2 a way better game than if we did it by ourselves. We want backers to be part of the process, we want their ideas for stretch goals, optional buys, mechanics, etc. We may not be able to use everything you suggest, but the suggestions we do use will make it a much better game.
We know a lot of companies just try and use Kickstarter as an ATM, but that’s not something we we want to be a part of at Space Goat. Kickstarter is a wonderful community that we’re privileged to be a part of, and we want to do our best to serve that community. If people have suggestions that would improve the game, we’ll try to implement them! If we can’t, we’ll explain why. We’re happy to give you as much information as we can, to the point that we’ll send you way too much on the intricacies of board game pre-press if we have to.
Shipping will be charged after the Kickstarter ends based on actual shipping costs and is collected via Backerkit. This allows us to charge shipping fairly for all backers and avoid a 'one size fits all' mentality to shipping.
Below are shipping estimates for the core game (estimated to be around 3lbs). These are just estimates. Costs may rise due to weight increase as more items are unlocked via stretch goals and optional buy purchases you choose. This will be calculated by Backerkit after backer surveys are turned in. We will not be able to ship to China.
USA - $15
EU (including UK) - $20.00
Canada - $20
AU - $35
Mexico - $35
Most other countries - $35
We have customs friendly local shipping in USA, EU, Canada and Australia. We will look for the same arrangement in all locations where we have a significant number of backers.

This is our second Kickstarter project, and hoo boy did we learn a lot from the last one. There is a lot of challenges that come with designing a board game of this size and scale.
Including (but not limited to)
Creation of art assets,
Space Goat’s first Kickstarter is about to be sent to the manufacturer, and despite some learning from Space Goat’s side of things, is still on track to be delivered to backers in Spring 2017. We’ve made all updates public, so if you’d like to see how our previous campaign (Evil Dead 2) is going, we encourage you to look at the Kickstarter page! You can also feel free to message us on Kickstarter with any questions or concerns you may have.
Lynnvander, who has co-designed the game with us and helping us with the Kickstarter process, has run 8 Kickstarter campaigns and they are bringing their considerable expertise to help make sure this process process runs smoothly.
We have estimated the delivery for Winter 2017 but please understand this is only an estimate. Due to the global logistics involved in shipping, some regions may receive their pledges sooner than others. We will, however, ensure a global release of any The Terminator™: The official Board Game products for retailers.
We have prepared as much as possible with our production for a successful Kickstarter, however we will refund pledges if for some unforeseen reason the game cannot be delivered at all.
After the Kickstarter closes, we will give refunds for individual pledges minus Kickstarter processing fees. (We don’t have that money anymore, so we can’t give it back to you.) This will likely be around 90% of what you originally pledged. We can give 90% refund pledges up until the survey closes. After the survey closes, we will not be able to offer you a refund as we will have locked in everyone’s pledges for manufacturing. We will provide ample warning to backers when the survey is about to close.
Refunds are reversed via Stripe to your credit/debit card.
This is a USD Kickstarter and refunds will be processed in USD for the amount received, excluding any applicable fees dependent on the day at which the refund is processed as detailed above.
Terms and Conditions
If you do not confirm your shipping and pledge details within 10 weeks of our notification via email to confirm it will be treated as abandoned. We will however look at each case sympathetically and try our best to satisfy each customer.
By pledging on this Kickstarter you agree that our responsibility to you is for shipping your order as entered into the pledge management system. You are responsible for import or other duties that may be payable to relevant tax authorities. You also accept that you are fully liable for incorrect shipping details and will risk your pledge being unable to be delivered or lost in transit.
We are unable to ship to PO Boxes.
If you do not accept the proposed terms please do not pledge on this Kickstarter project and wait for the global general release.
