Production Update

Hi Everyone,

While we were able to ship a third of our pre-ordered Everpurse clutches before our self imposed deadline, we did experience another delay with a supplier delivery (this time a piece of technology is being held in customs) We anticipate the shipment will be released in the next few days and we will update you as soon as we know more. As you already know, it takes about a week to build your Everpurse, from putting in the tech to our design partners putting in the final stitching - this puts our anticipated delivery of every last preorder time out about two more weeks. We hoped that in place of an update about delays we'd be toasting with our design partners to getting your long awaited Everpurse clutches into your hands, but could not have anticipated this hold up in customs. We ask for your continued patience, we have our entire staff and our design partner's staff on-call for more round the clock Everpurse building (both iPhone and Galaxy models) and sewing as soon as our packages are released from customs.

      I agree with the other posts below requesting free upgrades in the event of non-compatibility w/ new phones by the time we receive our product.

      I think it's crazy that you're still taking orders through your website, while still not even being able to fulfill your Kickstarter orders placed last year.

      People wanting refunds: it took a few emails to support to get a response. If you want the process to go quicker, verify your paypal email address in your request for refund email. If you don't have a paypal account you will be mailed a check.

      I agree with the other posters, though I'm way passed sad and well into "mad" at this point. You should've never sent the previous email with "we're shipping!" I'd you didn't have all the components for all the backers. Not only has this been terrible customer service and poor communication, I have no confidence that the original backers are being prioritized over full price customers. I will definitely think twice about participating in another kickstarter venture.

      Lucky for me when I ordered my purse I decided to take the iPhone 5 adapter as I expected I would change phones by the time I received my purse.
      Like other customers I am out of patience and sadly rather annoyed that I spent some $$$$ to back this project. I understand that the delays aren't all your fault but it's been almost a year since I paid my money to back this awesome project yet all we receive are emails about more delays.....will I ever actually receive my purse?? Wondering if the word scam should be placed into this paragraph.....
      A 10% discount really doesn't sound like a fair compensation for all this waiting.....i think your marketing team should be working on something else that would take the sting out of all this waiting.... I think you may be losing a lot of future customers.....

      I think I ordered the iPhone everpurse at this point, since it has taken so long, I'd like to switch it to a Samsung galaxy s4 connection because the iPhone connection may change before you guys ship it out. Also may I suggest that you all should give original kick starter backers a one time 50% off or even 40% (at a minimum) coupon code for a future order? You all should realize that as disappointed as you all are in not getting the product out, that you have totally disappointed your customer base. That one time code is fair and would ensure that you hang on to not only your original backers but to ensure that your original backers will spread the word instead of saying "it's not worth it." I have been patient but just like everyone else I am upset and even today I have waffled back and forth on canceling my order altogether. I know some of the setbacks are not your fault, but we are in the middle of August and creeping fastly up on October which will be the 1 year point. 1 year! Think about that and then ask yourself is a 10% discount off a future order enough? I will receive my order and at 10% I can promise you I want order again. At 40-50% I will reorder. I'm not sure if you all realize this but when customers are happy, profits will follow. At 10%, it's an insult for as long as we have waited and it also ensures that I will not order anything from you all again and I will tell anyone in my circle not to order. I'm just one person, but I consider myself an "influencer" amongst my friends and I can assure you unless you all do the right thing I will not influence my friends to do the right things. I'm not even sure if you all are even concerned about your image in the public eye as you all have let continuous complaints go on your kick starter page and Facebook pages without you all giving hardly any updates. Something is better than nothing. With that said I will wait on my order with the new Samsung charger update and I will see if you all will do the right thing for future orders. While I admire your entrepreneurial spirit, I am vastly disappointed in your customer service and the insult of the 10% discount, it is something but its insulting.

      @Kuniaki Tran Except for those of use going from 4S like mine to a 5S or 5C. That will require an upgrade that costs more money.

      The new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will still be using the Lightening connector, so it should still be compatible.

      The problem is unforeseen it's because of the US Customs. I think people needs to take a chill pill. I have experienced worse backing a project like InstaCube; this isn't that bad.

      Thanks for the update! But I wish you guys should have posted this earlier.

      I am also concerned that it will be time to switch to a newer phone soon, making this product useless without paying you more money. Please consider making upgrades free to your Kickstarter backers, at least.

      This really is ridiculous. I want a refund as well. I am starting to think that you all are running a scam. All of these delays were unforeseen? Why did you make promises that were so outlandish? Who has actually received their everpurse?

      I want my money back! Your campaign makes it hard to want to back a new project from an unknown quantity.

      I would like a refund please. I do not wish to wait thru another delay. I also will be upgrading my phone as soon as a new model is announced so I won't be able to use this unless I pay you to upgrade it, if I even have it by then. Sorry, no.

      Also feel like I won't have my iPhone 5 much longer once I receive this. New version rumored for September. What is the cost to upgrade for a different device once clutch is in our hands? And when do you expect to ship black fabric purses now? Thanks.

      Understand that delays are inevitable but this is truly ridiculous. And a 10% discount offer for future bags is too little too late. My phone will be outdated before I get the everpurse to charge it. Hope we all live long enough to see this.

      I know things happen, but this is beginning to feel like I'm never going to get it. I wanted to get it before my cruise the first week of September but its looking like that won't happen. I'm starting to regret having paid for this.
